Joe Marino at least bases his opinions on film study. That doesn't make him automatically right about everything but his takes have some evidence behind them.

Compare that to some hot take dealer broadcasting from Mom's basement. They get clicks because they feed into people's rage after a loss.

Yeah, like Marino’s take that Palmer should be the number one free agent targeted in the offseason for his separation skills so we could upgrade what we were trying to accomplish with Cooper.  Unfortunately, the front office listened to Marino just like all his audience. We all have eyes and none of us should be confusing journeymen with Hall of Fame candidates.

The rain has finally moved out of the area so it should be dry this afternoon.

Post frontal winds of 20mph with gusts to 30 will probably be a factor though.

He doesn't have Cooke's talent but Jaylen Warren has been running like a madman this year.

His OLine doesn't do him a lot of favors but as bad as we've been in the front 7, he's a concern today.

I’m really concerned Warren is going well over 100 yards today.

If the Steelers block a punt and the broadcast zooms in on their special teams coach chomping his chewing gum like a psycho the game might be tight for a bit

Otherwise this will be a blowout. Think Tampa game but the other team cannot score points in offense.

I’ll have some of what you’re smoking… we’re down our best 2 offensive lineman, our defense is a mess, and the weather may not be conducive to a very healthy passing game. I obviously hope you’re right, but at this point I am just hoping for a win… however it happens.

McDermott and Tomlin were college teammates at W&M. They will both be seeing this as a must win.

What does that have to do with it?   They've both coached in this league a very long time.    I'm sure both would like to do well, but that seems silly.

The problem with Joe Marino has never been with Joe himself. The problem is that a core group of people treat his opinions (and that's all they are...his opinions) as the gospel truth. People really no longer have the ability or desire to think for themselves on a large scale these days. He spoon feeds them their opinions. How many replies on this very forum start out with the phrase "Well, Joe Marino says..." like that's some kind of end all to the argument.

Marino makes a lot of valid statements and opinions. He also offers up clunkers. He states the exact same things we see and read here.

Respect to you and others, but I’d put Joe Marino’s commentary in a category very few here reach.    I think that goes for most professionals.    We have our bright spots, but we also have our “should’ve checked down to Diggs” posts.

In some of these road losses, the offense including Allen have been sluggish in the first half.  No tempo.  No urgency.  I think we see that change today and i believe Allen will run more off schedule to avoid getting trapped in the pocket.  It's a playoff game in late November.  I bet the Bills play well today.

Today is my birthday, and all I want is a Big Dub - Go Bills!

It was my birthday last Sunday. Hopefully you have a better birthday than I did spewing F bombs.

Sorry - forgot and thought the Houston game was Thursday.

Well, Brown and Tasker work for the team so they will be supporters for sure; frankly it's kind of a refreshing take after spending time in the TBD dungeon for sure.

Many of Marino's takes have been wrong in the past year or so.    eg. He hated the Deone Walker draft choice for example and has been dead wrong.   His game calls have been more wrong than right.  He confuses his analysis with his fandom.   He's Schopp one day and Tasker the next.

He's pretty good at stating when he's wrong. Few do that.

I’m not concerned as I expect it from he or Gainwell. I’m concerned about the Bills scoring enough to combat it.

Steelers are going to stack the box and play man  Brady had all week to have a plan other than  mesh and wr screens   No excuses, you get paid to put your players in the best position .  Same for McDermott, Steelers will want to run and take all the short underneath throws the Bills always leave open   I expect big bodies and run blitzes early and often  Its time these coaches win schematically for once  I expect 10 plus scrambles/designed runs from Josh  He needs to go right away when Steelers are in man and it opens up  Its going to be there all day.

Joe Marino can't predict injuries or how a player is used by this offensive coordinator.

I can attest to the wind here in thr Burgh.

Steelers throw a TON of short passes, to their Rbs, Tes, WRs...with the occasional deep shot.  Need to play tight coverage today and take some blitz shots on early downs to get them behind the sticks

With all the doom and gloom being forecast (and I am complicit), has anyone put $5,000 on the Yinzers?

It’s like the jj McCarthy meme. That reference will never die
