If they can somehow get past the Steelers things will be better.   I just don't know how that happens exactly.   Run the ball 40 times?

….while missing 40% of our starting OLine. Maybe the defense and ST can pitch in for a few points? Maybe??

They need to win the turnover battle, or at least break even.  These -3 games are almost impossible to win.

Agreed.  Not feeling good about this one.  Coaches better have some trick up their sleeves.

Poor guy working OT this year trying to keep up.  how does a team have a 10 day break and get more injuries?

I'm asking myself the same question after a 10 day rest!!

Im expecting an ultra-conservative game-plan by both coaches with maybe some grey zone 4th down attempts. A lot of waiting for the other team to make a mistake.

could be wrong but that’s what I’m expecting.

every year has its share of injuries but this year seems particularly brutal.

I understand next man up but DANG.

it's frustrating and not realistically is there Anything that can be done to prevent them for the future

Not really am I right?  the Bills training staff has state of the art facilities. I have to believe that conditioning isn't really a factor for our team . am I wrong about that?

thoughts?

The blue tent on the sidelines looks like an emergency room

Bills are going with the Next Man Down philosophy.

I find myself intrigued by the Grable-Stash situation and hope the Buffalo media try to peel into the timeline more as to when he was actually cleared from the concussion and ready to return.

From the outside it looks like they wanted to prevent exposing their OL #10 (Lundt) by keeping their preferred swing tackle from 2024 in IR longer than needed … A terrible miscalculation especially if he isn’t ready to play this week.

Who cares if Lundt isn’t on this team anymore? We’ve seen this story with Jack Anderson and Luke Tenuta and Nick Broeker … These guys are nobody’s  and if the Bills kept Grable on IR when healthy to protect the last OL then I’d really be concerned with this leaderships talent management.

Honestly, there is.

Some of it is bad luck.

Some of it is the players we target…

Undersized linebackers and undersized DT’s.  Puts heavy strain on the spine of our Defense where we teams will constantly attack.  Undersized players get hurt more.  Worn down = More injury exposure.

We run an offense that is predicated on ball control, so we don’t have a build to jump ahead on teams fast.  So teams can hang around and continue to attack the undersized spine of our Defense.

We also extended an injury prone player in Bernard.  Signed an injury prone player in Bosa.  Have older players at DT and LB.

Knew Hoecht was on a PED suspension. PED’s are notorious for leading to ligament/tendon injuries.

Gave 8M per year to Samuel.. a guy who’s always been injured.

Finesse WR-esque TE .. always hurt.

You also make your own luck.

But this has nothing to do with the Bills this season, it's all because of McD & Beane they are slugs it can't have anything to do with this !!

I wasn't able to go to the sight because I guess you have to sign up & I got enough stuff here to distract me from getting off my A** .

I've heard that something like 8+ starters are on IR & that's just nuts to think that you can go out and do a lot of damage against other teams with almost 1 complete side of your team injured .

Interesting site.  But we are not the only team missing guys.   The Steelers are down OT, OG, and DT this week at the very least.  And Rodgers has a wrist issue.

This seems to be a yearly excuse for this team “the injuries”.

It's becoming a routine excuse every year. One that both is used to explain why we fall short and why we don't need to significantly upgrade the roster. "We were like, 4-5 plays away and we were missing so many guys. If they were there it's a different story"

Beane acts like we are the only team missing key players year after year. And he hasn't learned that we WILL have injuries every year and have to have real depth to absorb it. His answer is to sign players on the cheap that used to be good here half a decade ago.

I'm really exhausted with the injury excuses year after year.
