I felt like they would give him one more chance and somehow get him to have a come to Jesus moment, but I dunno. If he's truly done here then holy hell, I think he might be our new all time bust. New all time bust? He's barely Beane's worst pick with Elam, let alone Cody Ford and Boogie Basham. 1 Quote

Craziest part of this list is beane actually got value for trading all three of them haha obviously yea bad picks but my goodness what were these other gms also seeing 😂 (or no gms in Dallas’ case lol) Quote

The last guy we got lasted all of TWO PLAYS! Sheeeesh On the subject of Cooks' durability, the NFL went to a 17 game season in 2021. Since that time he's played in 65 of a possible 79 games (82.3%). Previous to 2021 he played in 91 of a possible 112 games (81.3%). Quote

BADOLBILZ Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago 1 hour ago, Kirby Jackson said: Absolutely!! The same with the Eagles. Those teams didn’t close the gap by drafting stars at the beginning of drafts (although the Eagle have a couple). Those teams just consistently hit on their picks. They built their rosters by scouting better. The Rams are going to be dangerous with that pick and their own. They are already really good. Maybe Stafford’s age starts to catch up but if not, they’re only going to get better. They are so well run. They did well with their picks........but they literally drafted 24 players in 2023 and 2024. Nacua was their fourth 5th round pick in 2023. It's so frustrating during draft season listen to Bills fans yack that nonsense about the Bills not having space for all these picks and how they should trade up because somebody might not make the roster. But they are taking their lead from Beane on it. He is the one leading that charge and he's been getting ball washed on TSW for most of that time. Fans ALWAYS turn on management when it occurs to the fans that they don't share the same opinions as management. Volume is a cheat code. The Rams basically risked being a little too young for a couple years and in the middle of year 3 they had been totally rebuilt from a cap strapped, aging team into a SB contender. Since 2017 when they stopped having 1st round picks they have averaged 9.3 picks per class. They have lost a number of solid players in free agency that are still contributing in the league. Like David Edwards. So what? It shouldn't matter. Not everybody needs to be re-signed. 1 1 1 Quote

But all for naught ! I hope these 2 just hit it off right out the shoot but this late it would have to be a god thing to make it work great but I do think he can help ! Quote

Blank Stare Posted 27 minutes ago Posted 27 minutes ago (edited) This is like inverse Jauron years, where we’re mid for so long, but never bad enough to bottom out and get a top QB prospect. Conversely, now we are obviously one of the better teams year-over-year, but never bad enough to get top talent in the draft and can’t get over the hump to win the whole damn thing. Such is life for a Bills fan. Perpetual purgatory. Edited 27 minutes ago by Blank Stare 1 Quote

This year with Josh Allen he has 112 yds. Joshua Palmer had over 580 yds each of the last two seasons. 769 the year before that. This year 272 so far. Either Josh is not a good qb (I doubt it) or with Brady as OC, it would not matter who the wide receivers are. I will be surprised if Brandon Cooks does well here unless Brady has some kind of magical epiphany. You could have added Curtis Samuel to that list. Quote

I really think cooper was the wrist injury his second week here tbh. Probably pushed through it because of the stakes but I don’t think he was anywhere close to healthy after that Seahawks game.. I honestly think cooks might be in the reverse scenario where he was playing injured in 2024 and just wasn’t in the saints long term plans so he didn’t really get many chances the last year+. I wouldn’t be too surprised if he was decent here tbh 2024 he had a minor knee procedure that ended up getting infected and he missed a bunch of time and his reward for battling through that was playing with cooper rush when he returned 😂 Edited 23 minutes ago by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote

If Brady can make nothing at all out of Moore, Samuel, and Palmer, all of whom did better with their previous OC, he is not going to do much with Cooks--or even a Waddle or Jefferson. The man's mediocrity isn't even entirely hidden by the best QB of his generation executing his patty-cake plays. oh I'm serious as a heart attack and earlier watching buffalo plus's emergency podcast and part of another, whilst thinking about the situtation, I was pretty frothing at the mouth 1 hour ago, foreboding said: Cooks only 32. or 65 in football years Quote
