They likely will only need 3, but if they can't win 4 of those then they really don't deserve playoffs.  But I'd rather be us than Chiefs and Ravens, so there is that.

More times than not, the Bills have been making the roster moves on Saturdays before the game when someone hits IR. So, not totally out of the woods yet 

 

Also, in the last couple years they have had someone miss 4+ games and NOT have them on IR. He's still likely to miss a chunk of time IMO.

It’s gross that the Ravens, at 6-6, are back in the division lead if we beat the Steelers. 
 

But that Division is likely decided by the two Ravens/Steelers games and Bills/Bengals. 
 

If the Bengals beat us, I’d bet on them beating the Ravens again at home and then finish with 3 easier games. 
 

Even if we beat the Bengals, that Bengals/Ravens game will be Burrow’s return to the home crowd.  Gonna have juice regardless, but I think CIN wins the Division if they beat us.. I really do. 
 

If not, Steelers or Ravens probably hold on, Steelers have an easier schedule outside BUF than the Ravens, but I don’t think anyone trusts the Steelers.

PIT:  BAL 2x, MIA, DET, CLE

 

BAL: PIT 2x, CIN, NE, GB

I see only 2 of those games as gimmes

 

The other 4 are a toss up

True, but I think I would rather be the Ravens as they have a very, very doable path to the division, whereas we do not.

Go undefeated against what might be the league's hardest remaining schedule just to make the playoffs?

I don't think I'd rather be in that boat.

That division will probably be won with a 9-8 record. Ravens can afford to lose two more games and still win the division in all likelihood. 

 

That's why if the Bengals win their next game, the game against us, they will probably be the favorite to win the division with how easy the rest of their schedule is. Will just come down to beating the Ravens once again. 

 

For us it just sucks basically having zero opportunity to win the division.

Very odd - they still have the Steelers twice,  plus @Cinci in a couple weeks.

It's the allure of at least 1 home game that swings it for me, vs going in as a 5/6/7 but I see your point.

It does but we have no one to blame but ourselves. I can accept a defeat in Houston against a tough defense, and even at home to the Pats (just) considering what has happened since but Falcons? Dolphins?
