I'm sick of the front office, sick of the coaching staff, and sick of all but a handful of players. This team has been completely run into the ground. No identity outside of being as soft as baby ***** and consistently wilting in big moments. Enough.

No because we are watching an elite QB being wasted. 

 

Five years of mostly no competition in the division and did not take advantage. Now, each year will be a battle just to win said division.

I’ve been recording the games for a while now. Watch some games live but when it’s obviously going to be a stressful game I just don’t watch. I always pay attention to the score but refuse to let it occupy a full three hours. 
 

this team had all the talent but has zero idea how to dominate. McDermott plateaued years ago and is never going to get this team over the hump. He’s a small man and relies on cleverness, I stopped buying what he was selling. He stinks.

Just in general I enjoy watching but I don't really get too invested in the regular season. I know the Bills are good enough to get to the playoffs and yes I believe they will be in the playoffs and thats when it truly matters. If we continue to play like we have on the road though we wont be there very long. 

 

I'm frustrated a bit tonight for the obvious reasons but I refuse to let this football team ruin my next 48-72 hours. I have more important things to worry about then something I can't control.

No. And it hit me like a ton of bricks at the open of the second half. Ray Davis selfishly thinking he’s Devin Hester and setting us up with awful field position when every yard matters in a game like this. Don’t know what it was about that play, but it became apparent to me in that moment that these games just aren’t fun anymore. You take the best talent the league has probably seen at the QB spot and put him in a pop gun attack. And waste all critical resources (both cap and picks) on mediocre defensive talent. I’m honestly at my wits end. It’s just a grind and flat out not enjoyable anymore. If it ever really was.

This team has run it’s course in every way except Josh and Cook.

 

Makes it worse that they are in worse shape cap wise next year.

No, but I gave up on them after the Miami game so I don't get too worked up for the games. This is no super bowl team. This is not even a division winner. I will enjoy the next 10 days of not watching bills football.

This season is probably the least fun I have had watching the bills since 2018. Even the wins you feel bad the whole time. It just feels bad knowing you are so limited and held back by coaching. The Bucs game should have been fun but it was a sick feeling the whole time because we couldn’t stop them.  Tonight was just miserable the entire game. That 4th and 27 was the first bit of joy and it was shortly taken away by the same old BS

josh allen is what makes it so frustrating. it feels impossible to have a guy like him and not feel incredibly frustrated week after week knowing we're throwing it all away. i have no expectations for this team, and yet if we make the playoffs and lose in the first round, it'll eat my stomach inside out. we have now wasted half of a hall of fame career.

I’m finally coming to the same conclusion. My brain refused to accept what my eyes were seeing until tonight.  This team looks old and slow, especially after watching the Texans defense fly around.

Its the whole history of the team, the coach, the GM…

 

When they win, I feel relieved. When they lose, I feel devastated.

 

Any tips? What do you all do to disengage and try to actually enjoy this?

I was just thinking this after the game tonight. 
 

i used to enjoy those drought era games more. Maybe it’s worse to have high expectations that are dashed.

I get that, and I spend most of my time trying to appreciate what we have now.  But it's also brutal watching one lost season after another w/ such a generational talent.  

 

We lucked out w/ Allen, and we're just blowing it.

There’s something about the coaching style of this team that makes them boring to watch. Now I know how Steelers fans felt for the last decade.

Josh Allen is arguably the most exciting player to watch and yet I haven’t enjoyed this year. The Chiefs game start to finish was a good watch. Tonight was excruciating for me every drive. From the missed extra point on it was pure frustration. 7-4 and just feels so bad. I think it’s because even if get in playoffs there’s 0% they can win it between the defense and WRS

They’re definitely a hard team to watch this year. Injuries every drive…..offensive lulls for quarters at a time, defensively getting run all over, relying on our RB instead of our QB to get the offense going, etc.

That’s what I said. This game resembled a Dick Jauron type of game.
