I think Chris Brown's "Cook is in the kitchen" radio call is about one of the corniest things I've heard.

There's probably some that like it, but I cringe whenever I hear it.

I acknowledge that it’s not an easy job, but absolutely nothing that comes out of Brown’s mouth sounds organic or off the cuff.  Everything is a goofy scripted phrase.

And believe me, other teams’ local PBP guys are just as bad if not worse.

It’s a lost art.

1 - Doubt someone will pick up his salary.

2 - Isnt waiver order based on current standings? I thought it reset after the first 4 weeks or something

Pats are 4th, so you can forget about this one for us.

No they aren't. The Pats are tied for the best record in the league. They'd be 31st on the waiver order.

Sorry. I thought it was fixed from the beginning of the year.

Adding Cook's 2026 $3.2M dead cap hit put the Saints over $90M in dead money next year, SO FAR.

The Saints/Titans game in a few weeks ought to be ridiculous as to who will throw the game more.

Meh.  He would be the 4th short fast receiver on the Bills.  He's only averaged a couple completions per game this season and he's 32 years old.  He's probably better than what he was able to show in New Orleans, given that it is a dumpster fire there, but given the circumstances, he doesn't seem to justify his cap hit.

I don't know if it's any worse than his "RIDE EM COWBOY" call for Ed Oliver

He's an automatic free agent.. no waivers

That's what I thought. I thought players with 4 accrued seasons don't go through waivers, but everything I see says Cooks will go through waivers, so maybe the rule changed? Or I'm just missing something.

They changed the rule this year I believe for players released after the trade deadline.

Nothing is worse than that. It is in fact....the worst.

We need the body. Actually any warm body is a Coleman upgrade.

Hey Keon was on his way. We all know why he was late.

Its been a rule for a long time. I remember when Kyle Orton got released after Tebow became a thing and he wanted to go back to Chicago, but he was claimed by KC i think

hopefully his salary causes him to clear waivers.  Then I think we can sign him to whatever.  Too expensive and unproductive with Dallas to take a dart on waivers.
