RunTheBall Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Some of the takes in this thread are wild. Bring up Gore? Seriously? Coleman isn’t playing. He’s in the doghouse big time. Houston has the best pair of DE’s in the league, and guys on here are saying they are just ok. Wild. Houston has penetrating DT’s, great DE’s, plays zone coverage most of the time, and has great CBs. Their slot guy is out. So what does that mean? We need an efficient Josh Allen, not Super Josh. Houston gives up nothing over the top, everything is underneath. So that means establishing the running game, and hope to god Josh can play patient because that’s all that’s going to be available. It’s going to be dink and dunk with a couple of targetted shots downfield but if they try and play like they did against TB we will lose. Edited 2 hours ago by RunTheBall 2 Quote

Personally, I would rather it be Fox if he's ready because we need to help get Bosa's snap count under control, but they love having 3 TEs active so I guess we'll see. I’m with you on Fox but not for that reason. Javon Solomon isn’t a serviceable option at end, nor do I think he offers any pass rush upside in the nascar package. Hes repeatedly failed to be impactful in that role and has proven a liability at DE on early downs. We can’t be rolling TJ Sanders out at end. And Bosa’s snap count (61%) last week wasn’t all that crazy for his career numbers or this season in comparison to other games. Quote

If you’re referencing my post, I said the pass rush was not as stout as people are selling. The ends are very good, not great. FWIW, neither of Anderson or Hunter recorded a sack last year vs Buffalo. We have great tackles. I like our chances. 19 minutes ago, RunTheBall said: establishing the running game Houston has a top 3 run defense in the league, in large part because of the DTs you mention. Again, this is strength on strength and it will be fun to see what they can do here. IMO the defense is FAST (especially at LB) and will flow quickly. I hope Brady uses this to his advantage. (Link in Coleman thread) I'm not shocked, but it's a little shocking that he isn't active with the injury report the way it is. Parrino and a few of the other beat guys expected him to be active but only returning punts. What a shame and a blunder of a pick ultimately. 1 Quote

Fast and physical. Handle them and you can tell me they are great again. Run the ball effectively. Reset the line of scrimmage consistently. Keep Allen clean, not running for his life. No excuses, if you can't deal with a great defensive line you aren't a great offensive line. 1 Quote

At this point, Keon should only be brought in when someone goes down. All of Keon's' reps should go to Tyrell Shavers, Shakir, Elijah Moore, and Gabe Davis. 3 Quote

The way this season has gone, the unexpected has been happening more than you would expect. So, what’s the unexpected in this game? All Bills’ TDs are scored by Coleman on special teams plays, the Texans run game is stuffed, and the Bills win in OT with a safety. That’s a hell of a payoff for my parlay! Defense stops every 3rd and 4th down >12 yds Quote

He's not available off the snap and there's going to be no time against Houston to mess around. If Keon does happen to play, I think he gets fewer than 10 snaps. My predictions for WR's this week: Shakir Palmer Shavers Gabe Moore Glad McDermott sees it the same way i do! Quote

If Houston as a top 3 rush defense is good enough in your opinion to be considered a really good defensive front, wouldn’t the number one rushing attack in the NFL be also considered a really good offensive line? I know I made plenty of mistakes in my 20s. How he responds to this embarrassing moment, being in active, being called out, being looked at as not reliable and now feeling consequences will tell the tale of Keon 55 minutes ago, Buffalo Ballin said: Not surprised. Lionel Hutz Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago Benching what was basically your first round pick for 2 straight games in his second season when he is healthy is a bad look for this organization. Either he is being benched as punishment for behavior or because they don’t think he’s good enough. I hear all the time when he is criticized for poor coaching that McD is a great leader of men. Well how come he can’t handle Coleman? This coming after how Elam was handled by McD. McD doesn’t want to win at any cost, he wants to win on his terms. Beane also deserves blame for picking these guys and not admitting he made mistakes. 1 Quote
