Cam Lewis's interchangeability and ability to play safety gives the Bills a chess piece they used in disguises that they don't have with Taron...just saying.  Thinking we might see Lewis more even when Johnson comes back, or at least we should.

Yup. It might seem crazy, but I think Cam Lewis gives your more than Taron at this point. They did some really interesting things with Lewis and Bishop last night that you can't do with Taron. Also, Lewis has been a much more physical player than Taron this year.

It's almost as if they're load managing Kincaid.  Why have him block and get worn down when they have Knox, the Rookie and Gillum?

I'm so glad you mentioned that.  My initial thought was that 35% is way too low, and he needs to be in, more then he's out, but he's become way too important in this offense.  This makes total sense.  As we play inferior teams, I hope this continues with not only Kincaid, but also Cook, and Bosa.  Bosa has gotten a lot of snaps, and Cook's usage is way up, which I love to see btw.

Wonder why Ingram was in there so much?

A lot of the break downs came with him in there too, not that that’s unexpected.

I say it every year....but Cam Lewis is a dawg and just continues to be a great piece for this defense.

Ingram played way too much.  He was a liability out there.  And I am fine now after 2 weeks with Hairston starting and playing all, but at least a majority, of the snaps.  Same with Hancock.  Let the kids play, learn on the job, and be ready to roll in January.  The speed difference is so noticeable when the kids are playing.  They need to be playing the majority of the time at minimum going forward.

Shavers must be a really good blocker.

He was outstanding yesterday.

Really got after it. 👍

I said the same thing in the game thread.

That game was way too big for him and I was hoping the Bills could find a way to manipulate him off the field in the 2nd half.

With too many injuries on D, it created a ripple effect and they were forced to rely on their patchwork dime packages more than they wanted, imo.

With Cook running 25x a game like yesterday, you want Hawes in there, he's like an OL with 4.7 speed and just a NASTY blocker.

I tend to agree. They want him healthy for the playoffs.

I bet you that oblique injury is still messing with him a bit also.

3rd best outside CB we have. That said expect Hairston to see more time as season wears on.

Mask things, think if he only ran routes we'd be tipping off plays.
