IDK I guess you have to wonder if playing meaningful games would be better than playing meaningless games in his preferred location. Campbell as the Lorax/Hoecht flex in and out player would be a shot in the arm for the defense. I would also say Harrison Phillips could be a competent innings eater DT Quote

These are high draft picks, they should get every opportunity given the state of the injuries. This is why you drafted these guys. The only move they make (if possible) is somebody with speed at receiver. 1 1 Quote

This isn't the NHL where you can bury salary by putting guys on LTIR. For instance, Hoeght's salary cap isn't reduced at all by him going to IR Oh man, that sucks Quote

Any defensive package that has White, Lewis, or Ingram on the field over our first round pick needs to be rethought. There is finally some hope in the backend along with Thompson a capable LB option when he plays. We need someone in DL - yes I agree we have to get someoneat DT who can make a play or two. Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It's amazing the Bills are technically down their top 3 DTs (really 3 of the top 4). We had major DT injury issues last year too IIRC. Losing 55 sucks, but I think they'll just use 56/94. Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) All first round picks need to be on the table. Getting a great player is better than using a 1st to draft some project that may not help immediately in a critical SB window. Bills have this year and next to win a SB. After that, it's going to be extremely tough. Edited 7 hours ago by Billsfanatic8989 2 1 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago IMO: Outside WR is still the bigger need. 3 2 1 Quote
Virgil Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago DT - Harrison Phillips DE - I think we ride out with AJ, Groot, and Bosa (More so because I don't think we can afford anyone else. I don't see the Dolphins trading to us. I do like the idea of Campbell though) S - Baker from Arizona, or anyone for that matter at this point WR - Shaheed. I'd love Waddle, but don't see it happening. Sadly, that's a lot of draft picks that I don't see us parting with. Quote

He wasn’t getting a jersey before Hoecht returned from suspension, so what makes you think he’ll get the nod now? My instinct is that they return to Solomon rotating in Quote

We are talking about finishing your last half with a perennial SB contender. Ask Kyle Okposo how much he HATED winning the Cup with the Panthers. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I think Campbell would be a good fit but from what we know he doesn’t want to play in the cold. The titans have already told teams they’re not trading Jeffrey Simmons. So your back to talking about Sebastian Joseph Day (Titans) Eddie Goldman (Commanders) Jonathan Bullard (Saints) Guys that hardly move the needle but are veteran guys who have been around the block and upgrade over Phidarian Mathis etc Quote

Certainly not openly, and maybe no words even need to be said about him specifically... but one of those things where teams know nfl is waiting to slap him with a suspension if signed... or Goodell willing to find ways to make teams lives inconvenient for stepping out. Feels a little bit like we've seen this before... although feels a little murky exactly who it was. Antonio Brown? Araiza? I feel like im missing a more obvious one. I think nfl & nflpa want that guaranteed money wrinkle he has with Oakland figured out before anyone pokes around 1 Quote

To put it even more simple. Play 8 more games or finish your career with a shot at the Super Bowl Quote
SCBills Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I can’t believe I’m saying this, but after watching this Defense beat up Mahomes and losing Hoecht for the year… I might be Team Trade for a DE if its available over WR. Not sure we need a DT with Jones and Sanders coming back, along with the hope Oliver returns for the Playoffs. Edited 6 hours ago by SCBills 1 Quote

Less interest in Ridley, for this year especially... but if they'd play ball on a deal like this im interested in adding him to the mix. Maybe he gets healthy, but if not hes worth something next year. Exactly "what" that is... I dunno. Hard to get a read with that team around him Quote
