May Day 10 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I don't think they will ever get it correct under Ross. Grier had a great rebuild going. They were flush with assets and Flores seemed to be building a good culture and they were playing with pride. In 1 season they went from being in the conversation as the worst team ever, to being a somewhat dangerous opponent the last half of the season. Had a couple decent years, and that was it. They went with McDaniel and Tua was a poor choice. They hemorrhaged assets on shiny pieces and created a country club in a place where it is easy for young millionaires to become distracted. 2 1 Quote

Rigotz Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I wonder if this makes Miami more or less likely to trade players ahead of the deadline. Perhaps we can strike a deal with their dumb owner to pry away Waddle before they get a real GM in place??? 1 Quote

I agree, they could have had Flores with Herbert. 2 Quote

Yup, Tua was never a good choice for a team with aspirations to win it all, never could understand that his obvious limitations were never taken into consideration, with that payday he got, it was the mark of an idi o t in the front office/ ownership, but good for him in that he got those dip sh-ts to pay him, lol. Chris Grier has no reason to trade away assets since it's his job on the line. With a yes man put in his place they can go into fire sale mode. We'll see. 2 Quote
Low Positive Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago JFC people! Mike McDaniel (no s) is the HC in Miami. Josh McDaniels (with the s) is the OC in New England. This is getting into Joe Burroughs territory! 2 1 Quote

frostbitmic Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago A new GM won't keep McDaniel beyond this season so he's basically dead man walking at this point. He'll try hard to give a boost to his next job search, but I think the players might give up on the season. 1 Quote
Big Turk Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Surprised it took this long. Never had any sort of plan, just whatever he felt like year to year it seemed. Quote
Justin C Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago McDaniels as the Bills OC if Joe Brady leaves sounds appealing to me. 2 Quote

If you mean McDaniel, I'd want McDermott fired if he hired that goof. 1 1 1 Quote

What has McDaniel shown that anyone would want him has an OC? Once teams adjusted to his scheme, he has been awful. He took Shanahans offenseive scheme, tweaked it, then said “alright I’m done”. Not to mention the fact that Josh is not an anticipatory thrower at all so that type of offense would be worse than our current one. At least we can run the ball, which McDaniel abandons faster than Josh does a Keon Coleman 1st read 1 2 Quote

Buffalo Boy Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I don’t think Josh Alan would want to play for McDaniels anyway… 1 Quote
