Flash against guys bagging groceries now. Coleman and White looked good in training camp too.

 

That said Davis had looked so bad, I'd be fine letting Gore dress for a game.

Nickel requires change of direction and short distance quickness in addition to tackling. Tre has none of those qualities.  I'd rather see him get a shot at safety than nickel.

This is not Benfords first game against the chiefs. He at the very least played in the regular season game last year against them.

Yeah I can't stand Pacheco. It's no big loss for KC though. He's an extremely mediocre back that gets overhyped because of his running style and playing for the Chiefs.

A big part of enjoying any sport is setting expectations aside and just being in the moment.  We have the marquee game on Sunday, it has big implications for the AFC's 1 seed, and we still get to watch Josh Allen play football every week.

Tre has been a great tackler this year because this is really all he can contribute as a player, and he knows it.    With the rise of the power running game in the league, this line up may have run its course.

It seems to me all most of the numerous injuries have happened in practice. Taron, DeQuan, Oliver (the first injury), Strong, Hamlin, Hairston, Bass... Not sure about Shaq, Milano, Bernard, Prater, or Sanders, but at least some of these injuries have "popped up" on the injury report. Palmer and the punter Johnson is the only players I recall being injured during a game. 

 

I wonder if McDermott is addressing the poor tackling by stressing physicality in practice, resulting in a lot of casualties. Oliver was (and is now, with his second injury) the biggest loss, obviously, but Strong is another one. He would have welcome back there, the way he was playing.

On the other hand the Chiefs are one of the best "traditional screen pass" teams in the league. They also run a lot of bubble screens... often in the red zone.

The one common scenario in 3/4 Bills losses is that the Chiefs were pretty much in control until the Bills made a big play to get back into it. You’ve got the Mack Hollins TD just before halftime last year, the goal line fumble for a touchback the year before, and of course the 70 yard TD to Gabe Davis when that one was starting to get away. The Bills have been hard to stomp, these games are always close.
