Lots of game balls to give out when you win 40-9!

Unfortunately, outside of Shakir, the rest of the WR’s were  invisible. Add in almost no contributions from Kincaid and Knox.

Not sure any were needed?

A few guys who probably deserve more credit:

Jackson Hoss

Reggie Gilliam

Dorian Williams probably just had the best game he's ever played in the NFL.

@Freddie's Dead asked me to step in this week.

Cook

Cook

Cook

Shakir

Hoecht

Walker

There's probably more in the front 7 that deserve it, dominant performance from them. Ditto for the run blocking.

How is the entire Oline not on this list? he was untouched 8 yards down the field on a lot of the plays

I’ve got to give a shout out to Bills Mafia for taking over the city and Bank of America stadium .

Yep! Back to back games as it was like this in ATL. Except they decided to sleep walk and lose in ATL.

I'll grudgingly give Josh his automatic gameball alongside, obviously, Cook.

Elsewhere -

On O: Hawes, McGovern, Shakir

On D: AJE, Hoecht, Walker

Something's not right with Josh...his throws are off...don't wanna be a conspiracy theorist but it wouldn't surprise me if he's been playing with a concussion from the Pats game or a hand injury that's gone unreported. I know the receiver situation is dire but having very few or no targets for Moore and Samuel seems weird. I thinks even Kicaid only had one catch...what is happening in this passing game???

Bosa was dominate. Helped there was a statuesque, indecisive, quarterback on the other team. Could’ve been our coverage (hopefully) that made it seem that way.

he sustained a hand injury for sure in the Falcons game, although I believe it was his non-throwing hand.

I would say it’s mental as much as anything. Mentally, he is aware that his receivers create zero separation and don’t come back to the ball when he scrambles. Mentally, he is aware that his OC is trying to make him a system quarterback.

Kincaid was limited today and according to a poster on another thread he was only on the field for 14 snaps.  Palmer being out leaves the Bills without a downfield WR passing attack.  Allen's 2 throws to the sideline were vintage Allen throws and missed by inches being completions.

Outside of twp bad throws he seemed pretty accurate to me.  I do think he's not trusting his WR's and he's not fully trusting the O line on pass plays.  The play where he got sacked on the first FG drive in which Dawkins took the wrong guy has been happening a lot lately.  Then you had the play were Allen sneaks for the 1st down getting a 1st & goal only to see it come back on an inexcusable mistake by the WR's not lining up correctly.

I agree that there is a mental component here.  When you almost never see separation it starts to drain the brain.

On the positive side Allen finished with a QB rating of 108 and the offense piled up over 400 yards.

There was one play where Coleman did not come back to the ball and again let a DB get by him to knot down and almost intercept the pass.  This has to shake a QB's confidence in a receiver.  All I could think of is that Diggs or Davis would have taken a couple of steps towards Allen to catch that ball for a decent gain.  It's NFL receiving 101 and it's not being done by a couple of our WR's.

I crap on Brady numerous times weekly and I’m not sure if I’m impressed today because my bar for him is so low, or if he deserves some credit here.

No, I don't think he does.

Interesting background i found on Hoecht. I knew he was versatile as an "edge", but God dang I didnt know he played DT LOL Lorenzo Alexander part 2....  dude was 310 as a rookie.....

Baffling how big he is, I dunno why i thought he was a bit more compact.

Quote

"Michael Hoecht's weight has varied, but he is currently listed around 267-297 pounds with the Buffalo Bills, having been listed at his rookie weight of 310 pounds when he entered the league. He has intentionally reduced his weight since entering the NFL to better suit his role as a versatile defensive player.

Current weight: Listed at 267 lbs for the Buffalo Bills and 297 lbs in a recent Madden video game rating.

Previous weight: Weighed 310 pounds when he entered the NFL.

Weight reduction: He has actively worked to lower his weight from his rookie size to improve his performance, with his "sweet spot" identified as being between 268 and 278 pounds. "

Yeah he was a defensive tackle at Brown who was probably 310

My favorite pickup of offseason he's a monster
