Really looking forward to seeing how the new faces on defense do today. Let also hope Brady didn't use the bye week to come up with more cutesie plays. Just like up, win your matchup.

I’m excited to see the PED twins and especially Hairston on D today. I’m also hoping that Hancock gets on the field at safety for us today. He looked good in limited play in the exhibition games. The fact we had zero trades during the last two weeks hopefully means the team believes these 4 guys will make a difference.

best to set the expectations low on a 31 year old coming back from  PED suspension.  hopefully those expectations get exceeded.

Josh Allen is at his very best when the Bills can consistently run the ball. This is true for most too QBs. Gotta use the legs of James Cook early to open up the pass. We absolutely need to see Ray Davis step up. Any down he's in is basically a lost down. We need to have him going so Cook can take a break when needed without killing the drive.

I’m sure it’s nice, but personally I would have preferred a design closer to Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis. The modern design with the incorporation of brick facades seemingly fits more with the heritage of the region

Bills win this one comfortably. The attention on them has been largely negative for the past 2 weeks. Despite what the players/coaches say, they do listen to what’s being said. 

 

It is so important for the Buffalo Bills to establish an early lead. This is the key to their success for the entire season. If your defense can’t stop their RBs then let your offense stop them.
 

I think (hope) Brady opens things up a bit more. We’ll see an offense w/ more James Cook in the pass game and heavily featuring Tight Ends.
 

Keon Coleman needs to be phased out of the offense. More throws down the middle of the field. We need Josh to consistently extend plays and give receivers more time to get open. Also big scrambles up the middle. Vintage Josh 
 

Sprinkle some James Cook runs in there, but don’t fight fire with fire. The Panthers will be trying to keep Allen OFF of the field. Brady needs to MAXIMIZE drives. This is what you do against Mahomes, not Carolina. 
 

final prediction: 34-17 BILLS
 

 

An easy win would be good for many reasons, one of which is so you could put Hairston in when the game is in hand and give him plenty of snaps. I assume if it's close he might not see the field much since it's his first game

There's been talk about Poyer and Hancock stepping in at safety.  What about Franklin?  Anybody know if he can actually play safety or is he a safety like Codrington is a corner?

Hairstons rookie progress will define the season. I hope they bring him a long slowly, but I don’t think that’s going to be possible when facing the Chiefs. The Bills truly need all hands on deck. All of Bills Mafia should keep a close eye on this game.

A lot of interesting things to look out for today:

- Who gets the majority of Rapp's playing time?
- Will Hairston actually get the start, or will they ease him into it?
- How will the PED twins look?
- Walker has been on a tear, will it continue?

This season goes nowhere until we start stopping people. It’s going to start with the run but the pass defense hasn’t been good either. This is it. The excuses are gone. The horses aren’t coming anymore. They are here. Let’s go.
 

Figure out how to stop the run. Figure out how to tackle. Figure out how to get to the QB and figure out how to get off the field on 3rd down. You do not win important games in the nfl without playing defense. You can’t just expect to score 48 every week and win. Unless you are under 10 years old, you should realize that defense is how you win sustainably in every sport. It’s shown and proven year after year and yet we waste so much time talking about WR. The chiefs have a top 3 defense in football…. That’s why we can’t beat them. When it matters, They stop us and we never can. Fix the defense today or start firing coaches. We have to stop wasting years with Josh. All the guys are back now. Scheme it correctly for a change. Go bills!

Its going to be a close game- Carolina is playing well, undefeated at home.  Dalton or Young, both have their faults- but their run game is very good and their defense is fast.  Horn is a true lock down #1 corner, hes going to limit one side of the field.  And with Kincaid likely out and Palmer, let's see what Brady can design.

 

I think we win, but thinking 27-20.
