Would love to see a fresh regime brought in at this point and see if they could rebuild a proper championship caliber roster around Josh and have another go at it.

Super frustrating game. And as much as a disappointment it is that they’ll likely lose the division, the goal has changed: make the playoffs and all bets are off. 
 

Punch your ticket to the dance, and we still have Josh Allen and a fighters chance. You never know when you’ll get hot. Things aren’t pointing that way; but we’ve seen flashes. 
 

It’s too early to say, “throw it all away” and start talking firing people. There will be plenty of time for that when the final whistle blows and we know where we end up.

Our lows are much lower than when? 2021 had some pretty freakin low lows (Hello Urban Meyer!!!) yet that was somehow our best chance to win the Super Bowl in terms of our roster.

 

This game doesn't mean much to me except it unfortunately demonstrates that the staff was actively overlooking Miami.

 

People here honestly think we're missing the playoffs? If you do, let's wager. If you don't, haven't you noticed the switch this team and especially Josh flip as soon as they start their new season? 

 

Again, wake me up in January...

He'll play here, be a good soldier and do his best, and probably retire around 36 or 37 to enjoy his family and other business ventures.

He and his wife have lots of ties to California. Josh won't badmouth anyone or blame anyone else.  But this season has stopped being fun for him, and if next season is not fun, he will start considering options.

This could be directly leading to an air of desperation within Allen, which is not healthy.  Since we know he won't ever throw a coach or player under the bus he internalizes every failure.  He thinks that if only he had thrown a better ball here or read the D better there they would have made the play.

 

Yet week after week after week we almost never see a receiver make an extraordinary play to help Allen out.  In fact today we saw Kincaid make a great catch on a ball behind him that was probably the first time in months that a Bills receiver made a super play on an Allen throw where his ball placement was a little off.  Later in the game a Miami CB got his finger tips on a deep Allen throw and barely deflected the ball.  Coleman couldn't snag a deflection that I see College AND NFL WR's routinely make. Coleman has terrible visual ball tracking skills.

 

IMO this season will go a long way towards determining whether Allen pulls an Andrew Luck in the next couple of years or gets his mojo back and plays 10 more years.  While Allen hasn't had the physical damage Luck had he's experienced a great deal more mental fatigue and that can be just as wearing on a person.

My biggest issue is the Bills feel like they are stuck.   When they were bad during draught the team could at least sell hope, the only way to go was up.    Right now, it feels like we are stuck in a slow degradation of bad contracts, aging stars, and leadership you cant trust to be flexible enough to improve this quickly enough.   They've gotten away from failing fast.  

 

Beane has been so stubborn about WR the last two years that he now finds himself in a position where he almost has to overpay via trade this offseason.  If they gamble in the draft again you may find yourself in a situation where the WR you draft is maturing when your franchise QB is 34 or 35 years old, if they become good at all.

A few weeks ago when he was asked about the WR separation he said something on the lines that if he throws the ball better they won’t need separation.  Kind of made me laugh.  That is who he is though. There isn’t a person more valuable in this organization than him, if he wants change he’s gonna have to speak up himself.

The greats hate losing so much it eats at them enough that they become jerks.  We need Josh to start channeling a bit of Tom Brady and Michael Jordan.   They werent there to make friends.  They were there to be the greatest to ever do it.

Every single person who plays football no you can't win the Super bowl every year 

 

We've literally been near the top consistently 

 

The grass is not always greener... Getting paid $350 million definitely puts more stress on you and makes fun harder 

 

Because there's a lot of pressure on you.. Tom Brady barely had fun was always angry and screaming.. because the pressure 

 

You don't see a lot of quarterbacks smiling all the time

To me it seems like the use the absolute worst game plan imaginable for 4-5 games a season and they don’t seem to have a plan B, except for that fluke 4th quarter against the Ravens. Some don’t seem to make any sense at all, but every once in awhile they hit it perfectly like the Chiefs game. Like others said, it’s pretty obvious they put more time into certain opponents.
