He was 7-10 and 6-11 in back to back years.   He lost 7 straight games to end the year in 2022.   He also was part of the brain trust that drafted two busts at QB.   Vrabel is a good coach but stepping into a great situation at QB in New England has started a weird sort of mythology about him.

Titans have owners who aren't all that interested in owning an NFL team.  They just enjoy being rich.  They listen to consultants like the bad Lions used to.

Daboll is not getting fired. No chance. That recent win just sealed his job.

I agree with them looking Chiefs, but I think they go with the other side of the ball. I'd watch Matt Nagy. He did have issues as a first time HC, but went back and sat under Andy Reid's learning tree some more. And hey, they guy made the playoffs twice with Mitch Trubisky as his QB. Another name I'd keep an eye on...Mike Kafka. OC for the Giants but has the Chiefs roots as well. If Dart keeps showing well, maybe the Titans look to him to work with their young QB too.

I had Daboll as first fired coach during the preseason. Yes, that win may have bought him some more time. I still think he's gone at the end of the year

I think Nagy is a possibility. Borgonzi has really been a Chiefs lifer so I’d say it’s highly probable someone from the Reid tree is getting hired in Tennessee. Nagy and Spags make the most sense. Kafka I can’t see , just too disappointing of a resume to this point as an OC

Kafka would be a really hard sell.

I think it buys him time to get to end of season.  If i were them, theres not much he could do to save the job.  Get the kid a real coach.  Plus they need to ditch Schoen.... why let a dead man walking help do all your offseason coaching, only to get fired by week 4 next year?  They havent seen enough??!?

Daboll is safe for the season unless Dart falls off the face of the earth.  He's 2-1 with Dart & if the Giants play around .500 with Dart, Daboll & Schoen will probably get extensions.
