The defense does still give me anxiety but looking at things clearly they were 3 of 9 on 3rd down and the Pats only had the ball 25 minutes.  With a 10 minute TOP advantage and a decent showing from the defense if the offense doesn't turn the ball over 3 times we probably win by 2 scores.

As far as Shakir goes, does anyone else think we are hurting ourselves having someone back there just fair catching punts??? Williams has been terrible this year. He gets fooled on every play, has no feel for coverage, and makes way too many mistakes.

To be fair, Bernard, Johnson, Rapp and Benford haven't been exactly stellar either!

Bernard has been pushed around and out of position more this year than I can remember. Sure, he makes a great play here and there, but he has a hard time shedding someone blocking into him.

This is what I was going to say. People forget that Ingram has looked good in limited duty. He would also bring a more physical presence in run support. There is almost zero risk imo - White has proven (unsurprisingly) that he should never see the field at this point. The excitement when the Bills signed him was laughable. He is beyond washed unfortunately

How about a few two back formations? Cook, Johnson, and even Davis have shown to be capable pass catchers out of the backfield. Might be a nice wrinkle to throw out there a few plays a game?

At CB, White has zero quickness left, and Benford's quickness is limited.  Put your quickest CBs out there.  I don't think Stefon Diggs is that good.  I think some of it was due to Tre White being so slow.

Pretty sure Logue is out of call-ups...no more games for him unless he is signed to the 53 man roster
