I have never seen a defense let a former non QB come in and do that to them.

Ever.

I guess you missed Saquon play against the Giants last season.

McDermott stinks.

he certainly didn’t have his defense ready for Maye intentionally extending plays with roll outs.  Maybe not entirely his fault thanks to the DBs on the roster.

Im probably taking this game a lot harder than I should be, as I’m also a PSU alum. This is an all timer in terms of bad footballs weekends for me

I wonder what Josh will say about the fans hanging around today? That arrogant comment post Ravens was stupid and was always going to come back to haunt. He needs to decide if he wants to be a salesman or a QB. He can't be both.

Kincaid is the only member of the roster - player or coach - who comes out of that came with their head held eye. The rest of them - hideous. Shameful, and sleepwalking which has been taking place since the start of the season has come back to haunt them.

The one seed should be as secure as possible as should the division. Now both are at risk.

Why do I care so much I sit up and watch when I have to be up in four hours when to doesn't feel like they do?

Agree on sleepwalking.  There was no urgency or attention to the detail.  They are so accustomed to the season starting in January that feels like they are willing it to already be there. Going through the motions…

You just watched McD get completely out-coached for 60 minutes, and that's your takeaway?

In surprised no one else is mentioning this. We were outcoached in every meanginful facet.

Drake Maye escaped to his right the ENTIRE GAME and took until the 4th quarter for Babich and McD to spy that right side.

But even after they figured that out, they couldn’t figure out to station a zone defense to Maye’s right so that when he is flushed, he has no outlet.

This is football 101 we were failing at.

The entire offensive structure is designed to protect the defense from having to be on the field.  The entire draft and free agent approach is designed to protect the defense.

It has to stop.

It’s incredible really. A self sustaining parasite.

I am just sick of what is going to be another wasted year.

Gonna happen again next year too, by the way, because what needs to happen won't until it's too late.

This thread is going to separate all the people with no backbones

I mean we're trying to be the #1 seed and losing a game to an inferior team is a huge blow on that journey. The season isn't over but there are some real flaws that were exposed tonight, and they have been there all along but tonight we couldn't get away with them. The one saving grace is there are no flawless teams out there. It is just a shame that the conference is weaker than ever and we can't capitalize on it by having a truly dominant team.

Only positive is it took the Patriots 3 turnovers, a bunch of penalties, horrible defense and a washed up Trey White to beat us by 3 points.

I don’t think ANYONE was expecting a pats win in Buffalo this year.. I was expecting a good close game but figured Allen be to much (and he almost willed the Bills to victory even with all the miscues.) The Bills will be fine this is only 1 game and the only thing that changed in my mind is I now think the Pats MAY get enough wins to make the playoffs now.. but it’s still the Bills Division..

We had 10 penalties and 3 turnovers and lost by 3.  Let's pump the breaks on the full on doomerism.

This is true.

But again.  That Pats offense isn’t even a top 10 O we will see the rest of the way.

And we allowed 340 yards and 23 points.

Really disappointed in the lack of establishing the run.   Brady didn’t not plan well for this game and continues to call mind boggling cute plays and it cost them on the first turnover.

Josh didn’t play well and neither did the O line really.  Way more pressure on him the last 2 weeks and he looked jumpy.

Defense still plays up and down but 3 turnovers and to hold them to 23…still can’t make plays when the O clicked and the momentum changed.   They gave it right back.

That loss will cost more than we realize because there are more losses coming if this is what they put together each week.   Would also be nice to watch football and not the “we interrupt this game to allow the officials air time”

Really disappointed in the effort.

It was a TEAM loss.  But I'm sure this week will be all about this or that.

The turnovers killed us tonight.  Josh's INT in the red zone was critical.
