Yes. He single handedly killed like 3 or 4 drives. He trips on the 4th down and we easily get the first if he makes his block. I distinctly remember one where he had a TE chip his man and he still let him by. He is not the end of the world, but it was noticeable. 4 minutes ago, WideNine said: Ugly and not the best ref crew as they really were overly officious and ticky tacky calls disrupted much of what our offense likes to do. Much of those holding calls on our receivers blocking on the perimeter were just weak. I hate to complain about the refs, but I agree completely. On the season, NO had committed a lot of penalties and we hadn't. I'm supposed to believe that the teams just switched identities and now we commit all the penalties? 2 2 Quote

Deone Walker continues to make splash plays. Soon we’ll have back Ed, Milano, Hairston, Hoecht, O Gun. Did Dorian get benched for Shaq in the 4th? Shaq is the coverage LB. They went with that personnel move. 1 Quote
Billsfanatic8989 Posted Sunday at 08:30 PM Posted Sunday at 08:30 PM This is happening all over the league. Teams that are huge favorites are losing/not covering the spread. Cleveland beat GB Giants beat Chargers 1 2 Quote
sven233 Posted Sunday at 08:31 PM Posted Sunday at 08:31 PM (edited) It's good to win. Of course it is and it's all that ultimately matters. But I am hoping one of these weeks we put it together on both sides of the ball from start to finish. Anyway....time to go watch the Chiefs and Ravens hopefully beat the crap out of each other for 60+ minutes.... Edited Sunday at 08:32 PM by sven233 5 Quote

We did the right thing today. I don't care how bad the defense was today. It has little to do how good they will be in January. 2 Quote
YoloinOhio Posted Sunday at 08:31 PM Posted Sunday at 08:31 PM (edited) Josh just referred to Jackson Hawes as “Hawes-y” in his post game interview and it’s grits for Knox. He had a good run as the #1 BSF/ TE position but we have a younger, cheaper, better version now and he has a hockey nickname. Edited Sunday at 08:31 PM by YoloinOhio 3 Quote

Why? This is almost the Bills MO. The prior Ravens game is the perfect example. An ugly terrible game by the defense and an offense that got hot at the right moment. They are great at pulling off these games. Allen’s best trait as a QB is his ability to take over the game. Quote

Shame on people that are enjoying watching a 4-0 team that's scored 30+ every game this year. We would be much better off if this was still the drought era. 4 3 1 Quote

I like that we are using more 3 LB sets when we have a good idea a team is going to run on us and we seem to be getting a bit better executing that as it has been chaotic at times with assignments and fits. I like Taron in the slot, but having him take on FBs and pulling linemen to stop runs is a good way to get him injured. Better to bring in a thumper. Baltimore just drove through KC like a hot knife through butter... early, but I would not mind KC getting their backsides handed to them. 1 Quote

I think that narrative is a bit overblown. You can still hit downfield passes against cover 2 especially with Allen's arm strength. The honey hole and the seam are both available. You can catch one of the safeties flat footed and get a WR streaking behind them. But we don't have the personnel to make those plays consistently. 2 1 Quote

They won't likely be asking the 3rd 'backer to do that when Milano returns, although they did run a ton more 4-3 the first few weeks. I gotta wonder what the whole thing will like like when they add Milano, Hoecht and Hairston to the game day roster. Quote
BigDingus Posted Sunday at 08:37 PM Posted Sunday at 08:37 PM I don't like the whole "a win's a win" mindset. Heard that after so many games in 2022. People just ignored & hand-waved away the glaring issues this team had just because they got the win, only for them to show up immediately in the playoffs. At this point in the season, it's fine. "A win's a win" in week 4. But if we're still saying that in week 10 or week 14, then how you play in those wins actually matters much more. 4 3 Quote
