Ya good question . I think it really depends on the team/coordinator Like the browns last week sold out to stop the run against Henry. But ravens tonight look like they are playing a lot of 2 high against Detroit 1 Quote

If they can use Hawkeye to spot a tennis ball that's moving 135 MPH and compresses as it hits the ground to within a millimeter, they can use it to spot a football. It’s not that simple in football though. You’re not just figuring out where the ball is, you’re spotting it at the exact moment when a knee/elbow/butt hits the ground. They’d need sensors all over every player and better f’n Bluetooth tech to synch it all up than I use to synch my speakers. It’s possible, but it’s not nearly as easy as fans make it out to be. SageAgainstTheMachine Posted September 23 Posted September 23 That was a stellar play by Lamar to Bateman. 1 Quote
Ralonzo Posted September 23 Posted September 23 (edited) Peyton isn't into math, he was jumping out of his skin that the Ravens needed to snap the ball before the 2 minute warning Edited September 23 by Ralonzo Quote
TBBills Fan Posted September 23 Posted September 23 What's your call here if your offensive coordinator? Play action? Henry? Lamar? Quote
Sojourner Posted September 23 Posted September 23 What’s Lamar seemingly having a mini tantrum over??? 1 1 Quote

That’s true. Also, in tennis they use cameras on the lines. Can’t do that in football due to the moving lines and the mass of humanity on the field. 1 Quote

Would have likely changed the outcome of the AFC Championship game last year. I imagine it has more to do with potential issues with the NFLRA than it does the technology. Yeah I think there is a sense of controversy that plays like this generate that the NfL might like and encourage. As frustrating as it is, it almost ways brings commentary and press to these situations. Whether it’s penalties, spotting the ball, etc there is always part of me that wonders how precise the nfl would actually like these things to be. Does it remove some of the contentious discussion that we’ve learned to despise yet continue to rehash? I don’t think they way to entirely remove all gray area. Quote

DapperCam Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Lamar’s body language is the worst. Did he just roll his eyes before that 4th down play? 1 Quote
RochesterLifer Posted September 23 Posted September 23 That’s B-more’s MVP right there. He sure likes to lay the ball on the ground. 1 3 Quote
