Cubanmist 1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago After the Bills 3rd win, I think there are major areas where they can improve. One is at backup RB, 2nd at WR, and 3rd at Pass Rush. Maybe even another LBer. Bills are direly in need of a force opposite of Bosa. Groot just ain’t it. So, who would you trade for and what would you give up? Also, what position(s) do you think we need? 1 3 Quote

Hey if backup RB is really a top “need” (not sure I would ever agree that a backup RB would ever be considered in that category) then the team is doing really well 2 1 1 Quote
NewEra Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We do not need a new backup RB. Ty is one of the best backups in the league regardless of his inconsistency through 3 games this season. We need to see how the pass rush is once Hoecht and Larry are eligible. If they don’t improve it- then adding another pass rusher would be welcome. I just don’t think we’ll be in the market for one unless Bosa gets injured prior to the trade deadline. I don’t see us adding another WR this season barring injury. I think our WRs will be fine. I think our LBs will be fine. Sure, an upgrade would be nice- but at what cost and will they be able to step in a play the system to McDs standard. Same goes for corner and safety. Tre, Hairston and Strong will likely have to do opposite of Benford. If Benford goes down, maybe we add a corner. If Rapp goes down, maybe we add a safety, but I would think we might give Hancock a shot at it. That said- Beane is usually pretty aggressive in upgrading something at the deadline. 2 Quote
T.E. Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We need one of those bruiser backs who is good for nothing other than picking up two yards but who will always get you two yards. I don't even know if they make them anymore, to be honest. 1 1 Quote
dave mcbride Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Rousseau is a very good player currently suffering from a bone bruise in his leg that he got late in the Ravens game (which he played pretty well in). I *guarantee* you that it’s affecting his performance. They tend to be very painful. They do heal, though. Edited 1 hour ago by dave mcbride 2 1 Quote
K-9 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Rest. 3 games in 12 days can wear on a team and we looked tired up front. 2 Quote
SCBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don’t think DL is a need given we have Hoecht and Ogunjobi coming back off suspension in a few weeks. Linebacker, depends what they think of Shaq Thompson. Milano not out long term, but can’t really be counted on. Need to have a solid back up for him.. which could be Shaq. If not, I could see the Bills looking around at LB’ers. Safety apparently requires 10 years of prep to play in our system, so I doubt they make a move there & Corner has Hairston coming back, so not really much to be done there. If we were to make a move before the deadline, the only place I see a true need is a guy to take the top off at WR, but I don’t know that the Bills see this the same way. 1 Quote

Meanwhile, Ray Davis looks to be out of shape. At WR, we have no true separators. 7 minutes ago, Ya Digg? said: Hey if backup RB is really a top “need” (not sure I would ever agree that a backup RB would ever be considered in that category) then the team is doing really well 1 minute ago, SCBills said: I don’t think DL is a need given we have Hoecht and Ogunjobi coming back off suspension in a few weeks. I just think he “could” be good here and it would be a big leap of faith to depend on two rookies at DT in a rotation heavy DL, one of them having a back issue last year and our starting DT being an older player. Special K Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Too bad Arizona is 2-0, because I would love to put Budda Baker next to Bishop at the Safety position. 1 1 Quote
First Round Bust Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago pass rush - organic DL not the blitz variety - besides the 13 seconds travesty, this has been the overall biggest weakness-challenge of the McD defense, will mask the below average play of the post Hyde-Poyer safeties, and high third down converions...god help us Quote

Let’s play a fun game and list all the NFL teams that do not have some type of need(s) as perceived by their fans. Well, THAT was fun! You do the best you can with what you have, and you never have everything you want. Yes, we have some thin spots for sure, but overall I like our roster and potential. Quote

Pass rush needs a little help in the form of pass coverage. Playing soft zone due to secondary personnel doesn’t help the rush at all. Quote
