Mahomes has thrown the ball 23 times in the first half.  This is the worst KC team he has ever played with.

 

no run game

little pass protection

bad TE play 

no WR separation

 

their only hope is Mahomes breaks contain, either runs for big yards, or holds it long enough for someone to scramble drill

 

I think KC may not even make the wild card at this rate.  It’s that rough

Agreed that Russ sucks, but don't know if putting in Dart against a Spags defence is the answer for his first nfl game.

 

Realistically , Jameis probably gives them the best chance to win

I am still amazed at TWO backwards passes by Mahomes to a guy lying on the ground. TWO!!

Agreed.  KC wins this game.  But they don’t win against half the teams in the AFC at this rate

It's crossed into the point where the decision to leave him in has to be demoralizing to players on the team

By the way this game is the perfect cap to what has been a terrible day of NFL football. Saw so many teams today making laughably bad mistakes, felt like very few teams were actively trying to win.

You are factually wrong. Just watched it again, and he released the throw from his own 34 yard line on the far right edge and threw it to the 9 yard line (with room to go) in the air on the right side hash — which is actually pretty much exactly 70 yards.

In fairness, they have no kicker and probably realize the only way that turnover turns into a score is if Scattebo rips it from Russ’s hands and beastmodes himself into the end zone.

It’s surprising how some players simply struggle to understand situational football. In that scenario, your number one priority is to recover the ball as it almost guarantees points. That’s a game changing play, but instead of executing basic fundamentals, they throw it away trying to advance the ball.

Aaron Rodgers quarterbacked a team that won today and its clear he shouldnt be playing football anymore.   Every game I saw was two teams trying their hardest to lose.
