Low Positive Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I'm sensing a series of "players-only meetings" is about to occur here in Cincinnati. 1 2 Quote

I'm surprised no one is saying Daboll and Shoen blew it by not keeping him, along with Saquon, of course. Dart might ultimately be the answer, but with Jones in place, they could have used that 25th pick on a player that could have helped them right away. Jones looked good. Solid. Give it more than 3 games. LOL at how Collinsworth and his sidekick kept going on and on fluffing up how excited the Giants were about Dart. 1 Quote
The Wiz Posted September 22 Posted September 22 And they just keep piling on the injuries in SF. Quote

Process Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I swear the 49ers lose half their team to injury every year. Quote

They coould have beaten the Kansas City Forking Chiefs last night.... I don't care about their other 16 games. But it doesn't matter. QB isn't their main issue. Had the Giants swapped coaching staffs with about 25-ish other teams yesterday they likely win that game despite Wilson being garbage. Quote

I don't understand why any team would play Wilson at this point, or even last year. He'll thrown the pretty bomb once a game, but he's just so ineffective otherwise. Just saw the highlights: First and goal at the four-yard line, needing a TD, he throws it out of the end zone--not chance for the receiver--three times, and scrambles for a loss the other time. Would Dart really do worse? 1 Quote

Would Dart really do worse? I SMH over the decision to acquire Wilson after last year on the Steelers. Course, I SMH over the Steelers decision to acquire Wilson for last season AND the Steelers decision to hang their hopes on Rodgers. So we'll see. 2 Quote

Would Dart really do worse? The highlites don't do last night justice. Somebody in the GTD thread said the game was a "glue eating competition". I've never felt anything more in my life. It was almost like Daboll was trying to get fired. That game is so difficult to explain to anybody who didn't watch it live. The next closest thing I can think of is the Colts with Jeff Saturday at the helm. 2 1 Quote

I maintain that Brian Daboll has naughty pictures of John Mara There's also the fact that Daniel Jones looks like a totally different QB so far in Indy. He looks natural, at ease, poised, and confident. Time will tell. 1 Quote
Sojourner Posted September 23 Posted September 23 (edited) 1 hour ago, HappyDays said: Just a wild sophomore slump. I asked about him in this around the league thread Sunday. Was told he looks disinterested or mailing it in. Rewatched the condensed version of that game and I don’t agree entirely but he certainly doesn’t look focused. Don't know what’s going on there for him to be that way but it is a wild slump he’s in indeed. Edited September 23 by Sojourner Quote

There is a significant drop from #4 mind you... but there is this presumption the Eagles don't throw because Hurts isn't good at it. Well 2nd half yesterday against a good defense they put the game on his arm and he delivered. He is also an exceptional leader. I'd take him above everyone except the top four to start a franchise with. So then, Justin Herbert hasn't ascended to the Top 5 this season? Too soon? 14 hours ago, The Wiz said: And they just keep piling on the injuries in SF. Yes but according to many here, the Bills should fire their entire athletic training and S & C staff. 6 hours ago, HappyDays said: Just a wild sophomore slump. There are exceptions but the exceptions are exactly that. 1 Quote
