(You all will love this thread on victory Monday)

Seeing how we well we are playing now, that we get a couple of defensive players back in few weeks and assuming that the young 'uns on defense gel by mid-season, I am having a really tough time seeing a loss on our schedule. But we all know how difficult it is to go unbeaten. Also, I dont want to jinx it. So if we assume there will be at least one loss this season, which game has your vote?

Dolphins - naah

Saints - no QB, still re-building

Patriots* - Maybe if Vrabel does his thing for playing  tough in the trenches and this is his Superbowl

Falcons - way too underpowered to slow us down

Panthers - Naah

Chiefs - they should have Rice back by this time so it is likely but I feel we are more balanced overall on Defense and can avoid the typical issues with their offense

Dolphins - they will be thinking about next season at this time, so naah

Buccaneers - a possible loss as they are a tough team and on a good day, can give us fits

Texans - while good overall, it remains to be seen if CJ Stroud can recapture his rookie form. But I dont think they have the overall horses to stop us

Steelers - Again, could be a tough game but Rodgers' arm would be hurting by this time

Bengals - Maybe Burrow will be back by this time but he will be rusty and our Defense should be fully revved up by this time

Patriots - see above

Browns - good overall team but still looking for a QB.

Eagles - first real possibility of a loss with how tough that team is. But if we have the #1 seed locked up, many of our starters will be resting

Jets - rrriigght

So, in summary, I think our first loss could be to the Patriots, Bucs or Eagles.

What do y'all think?

I will be honest, there isn't a game we should lose on this schedule.  Every year elite teams lose a game or two they shouldn't, so not saying we are going undefeated, but its hard to pick one we would lose.  The only truly tough game will be Phi, and they are not the same team there were last year and odds are we have the 1 seed locked up by then and may not even play starters.

So I am looking at the first 15 games, and there isn't a game where we are not a heavy favorite except KC where we will be a favorite, just may not be a "heavy" favorite like most every other game.

No joke, we might be undefeated or sitting on just one loss heading into that Eagles game if the Bills can keep their focus and take care of the teams we should beat.

If I had to guess, I am thinking NE sneaks a win in with a scrappy upstart team and divisonal rival.  But still not sure we lose a game before week 15.

We're going to win some that we have no business winning and we'll lose some that will have us absolutely scratching our heads and call for firings, so......

We are literally favorited right now in every single game for the rest of the season. What does it mean that there are games "we have no business winning."

Re Eagles: do you mean the regular season game or when we play them again in the Super Bowl?

That, of course assumes Buffalo will lose a game this season.  Actually, one possibility that we might keep an eye on is the chance that Buffalo will have wrapped up home field advantage or even they playoff seeding before the last week or two of the season.  I could easily see the Jets starters beating the Bills' backups.

I think the script gets flipped with the Chiefs this year.

They win in season and we eliminate them in the post season. And I would be fine with that scenario.

Save the tricks for postseason as far as I'm concerned

We're going to have games where we absolutely **** the bed all game long but will pull out the win..........we have games like this every year and sometimes we squeak out the win and sometimes we just can't get it done.

This is what i mean by "we have no business winning".

I would like to think that we will steamroll every team through the schedule, but it's unrealistic to ever think that and there will be games where we left too many plays on the field and look like we should have just lost the game outright but pull out the win..........Baltimore comes to mind.

The Bills losses will be from 3 categories.

1) They will lose to one very good team.  Probably vs. Philadelphia to end the home winning streak.

2) They will lose to one mediocre team on the road.  Either @ Atlanta or @ Pittsburgh are on the table.

3) They will lose one head scratcher when they are touchdown favorite.  Possibly @ New England

Unless they have the 1 seed wrapped up before week 18, I think they finish 14-3.  If they rest everyone week 18 it could be 13-4.

Prior to the season, I had them finishing 12-5.
