As is said concerning peds, he is brittle as can be, this is the result for those years of being a ped monster, one’s body just can’t hold up anymore. Happens to player league wide, it is the call of retirement, will he answer the call.

Watching Epenesa get rag-dolled 3-4 times a game is demoralizing.

The scary part is that he was probably one of our best defenders out there last night.

I don’t think it’s anything serious.  Might miss the game on a short week but he should be good long term

The hard truth is that even if healthy he’s not the same player by a long shot. On the first Maye scramble Milano is just waiting for him at the sticks rather than running at him to fold him like a chair in years past. Maybe he was already hurt there, but he’s not the same player.

I think it’s more about McDermott defenses asking undersized players to hold up near the LOS against bigger offensive players.

yup, was great to see him out there for a bit

But he's toast.  My least favorite part of all this is we're going to draft entirely D next year again, and get by with scrap heap WRs forever I guess.

I would be all for more Shaq Thompson and gimme some Buffalo Joe vs. what we've been getting from Milano and Williams.  Since the last two are basically IR'd, might see some of that.

Hurts to say but this should be his last season in a Bills jersey. LB is gonna be a massive need next offseason.

I think it's a massive need now. Unfortunately, probably not a lot they can do until the offseason.

Thank you for your service to the Bills, Milano. When you were younger and healthy, you were an absolute beast. Unfortunately, that time has come and gone. Time to move on after this season.

Sal said on his podcast a minute ago it seems like he is going to be out for awhile.

He might end up being on IR creating a roster spot for Hoecht.

I don’t think the Bills can play him any longer .. even if/when he’s healthy.

We can’t keep operating like this at Linebacker.

And it’s not fair to the rest of the team/coaches to gameplan involving a guy who 50/50 makes it through the game healthy.

McDermott just said he is officially week to week.

Poor guy considering how they downplay injuries publicly here he may be on life support somewhere.

While I concede it's not the end all be all for evaluation, Milano has "earned" a 30.2 grade on PFF. Even when/if he comes back I don't thing he's a better option than Shaq going forward. Heck, even Dorian Williams is graded 4 points higher.

For those wondering, Shaq is the 4th highest rated at the position with a 90.2.

Again, it's PFF so take it for what it is. But it actually sums up what I've seen by the eye test very well.

I think you play Shaq the rest of the season, resign him to a 1 year deal next year and draft high at that position as well.  We have to be done with Milano and WIlliams should be relegated to special teams.
