Kwai San Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Since I didn't see the game live - can anyone elaborate on the play that Josh got popped??? Sounds like it was a wee amount of blood. Thanks! Quote
JimBob2232 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Run play. Got a fist through the facemask on his nose. Looked unintentional. He got up and ran off the field - which’s what scared everyone. Quote
JGMcD2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago QB run, stopped for a minimal gain. On the way down, the most irrelevant player in the league, Michael Clemons, was going for the tackle and swiped inside of his facemask. Josh immediately signaled to come out and ran to the sideline. Quote

sullim4 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I suspect the visor is going to be making an appearance on Josh's helmet for the rest of the season. 2 1 Quote

It must be SOMETHING SERIOUS if Josh hasnt returned yet" It was obvious he got whacked in the nose, and he isnt allowed back until they get the bleeding stopped. Noses take a while to get stopped. No big deal. Quote

Unless it's actually broken and needs a visor to protect it during the next few games, I don't expect him to wear one. 1 Quote

Thinking along those lines is what got Christian Wilkins turfed out of of the league. Quote

I don think there is much to compare. Josh's injury was mostly superficial and doesnt affect any part he needs to play the game. A toe/foot/ankle injury is much more serious. Burrow has proven how plenty tough he is, playing behind that OL for the last 7 years. 1 Quote
