We have watched the same game by this defense for 7 years straight. 2017 it was good. That offseason teams learned how to get to it. We have still not changed. Our coach is only here because of defense but wins because of the offense. If we had an ounce of competence on that side of the ball, we’d have 2 rings. And it’s not the players. We have good players on defense. It’s 100% the coaching. We have 3 LBs that can run and cover and get mauled by every physical team at the point of attack. We are the one team in the league that can play a base defense every down and instead We play nickel more than anyone. We are stubbornly obsessed with doing what we want regardless of it working or not. If a good DC was here and had complete authority over the defense, we win the Super Bowl If I see one more ridiculously late deep safety blitz. I’m going to spoon my eyeballs out. I’ll give Bishop a pass. But basically the last two years including last year in the playoffs Hamlin had the same ineffective type blitz called by Bobby and Sean.. It never worked. stop doing it. shane nelson Posted September 10 Posted September 10 8 WEEKS~There are lot of new players and the secondary is young. Baring major injuries, this defense will jell the 2nd half of the season. 1 Quote

blacklabel Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Sonsabishes....I mean that's not very kind, it's just what I say when Derrick Henry tramples poor, defenseless little kids like Cole Bishop. Quote

Please ! legion of room for me +1 That specific bishop play was snap trickery on the ravens part that caused that mess…it was actually really crafty and I’m glad Harbaugh didn’t save it for some huge play in the playoffs lol. Kinda odd to drop that one in a game where you have no reason to believe you won’t win anyway they got up to the line and just instantly silently snapped it and the bills got caught in the disguised look…I’m sure bishop would’ve creeped down way closer to the LOS otherwise.. seems like we were not ready for a few quick snaps that night Quote
