Peace Frog Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Apparently, the reason why Baltimore didn't go for it on 4th & 3 on their final possession was because Lamar was 'cramping'. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/lamar-jackson-said-cramps-were-the-reason-the-ravens-didnt-go-for-it-on-critical-4th-down-in-bills-comeback-win-141316780.html 1 Quote
Sweats Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Honestly, when my wife is cramping, i don't want her going for anything either, so........ 10 Quote
Success Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago To me, that decision was a no brainer, cramping or no cramping. I don't really get the 2nd guessing. Yes, you have to respect Allen's ability to drive the Bills down w/ that amount of time left, but if you go for it & don't make it, you're just handing the game to the Bills. 4 Quote
CLTbills Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Call a timeout and eat a banana. That's almost equivalent to Anthony Richardson's deal last year. Inexcusable, but Lamar has built up enough good will that this won't get talked about like Richardson. Quote
dorquemada Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Is it possible that he actually was cramping? I thought that the Ravens as a whole looked pretty gassed by mid 4th quarter Quote
Last Guy on the Bench Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago He did look like he was limping a bit as he walked off the field after that third down play. 1 Quote
somnus00 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) So you bring in the back up to hand it off to Henry. I mean, I'm happy they punted, but it was a dumb decision. Edited 3 hours ago by somnus00 2 Quote
Big Turk Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago He pulled an Anthony Richardson and pulled himself out of the game cause he was a little too tired. Even tho they were only on the field for 10 minutes in the 2nd half. Quote
T master Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I saw him look a little gimpy near the end but you got Henry & Flowers that have been lighting you up most all game so that excuse is a bit lame or maybe Lamar just knew what was about to happen ? Maybe he had a premonition while sitting on the side line or a here we go again moment ... Quote

I need to see a replay but I believe Oliver put a huge hit on him that play as well. He definitely got up limping. Still have to go for it there when it was obvious our Defense wasnt going to stop him or Henry. 1 1 Quote
NoSaint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Yea if true that he pulled himself on 4th down against a rival to close the game…. Should receive a lot of attention 1 Quote
Yobogoya! Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We'd be crowdfunding the fire McDermott billboard today if the situation was reversed. Punting there is the traditional, "conventional wisdom" thing to do. But anyone with an iota of modern, common football-sense knows that if your opponent is an elite QB who's been hot all quarter, you go down swinging instead of giving them the ball back. Period. 2 Quote
Billsfan1972 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago You at the minimum lineup like your going for it and try to draw Buffalo Offside is usually the play. 2 Quote
BRH Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Josh taking himself out of a game for "cramping" or anything else is inconceivable. 1 Quote

Should receive a lot of attention if this was any other QB the headlines would be published he pulled himself. but it's lamar jackson, the real mvp... so nothing. i hope this makes noise and gets out there. when the game is on the line in what will likely be a major playoff implication game for home seeding and you say you're cramping in game 1 in 60 degree weather you aren't mentally tough enough to be called an mvp. jackson is such a mental midget pansy. HOUSE Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Reminds me of 20 years of giving the ball back to Tom Brady with 1 minute remaining. Dumb 1 Quote

Fleezoid Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago John Harbaugh has a history of head-scratching late 4th quarter decisions. So......that could be a factor. Quote
