I won’t go into detail on this regime because in the past it’s gotten me in trouble on here. all I’m saying is it’s too soon for the negative imo after a win like that. The Ravens are an incredible team and it’s hard for any NFL defense stopping that. I’m just happy as heck we got a guy in 17 that can out duel them. incredible first ballot HOF that’s the best in the league imo…JA17 2 4 Quote
Luka Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I'm gonna go with the guy that did something so insane that I don't think any of us here can even truly appreciate it. Josh Allen may end up being the best football player to ever play the game, not just the best QB. McDermott gets zero credit. Defense woefully unprepared. Gameplan was hideously conservative. The 2 point tries... I feel bad for whoever picks him up after Allen retires. Gonna be like Belichick in North Carolina all over again. 1 1 2 1 Quote

I can’t get over how bad Harbaugh/Monken are at sticking with Henry. it’s actually insane. He has like 200 yards on 14 touches. How do they not run? Won’t complain but that has to suck so bad for Ravens fans. That’s how they lost the AFCCG vs the Chiefs, pre Henry. They need to run the ball. 2 2 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Allen, Oliver, Coleman, Prater, Harbaugh, and lady luck were the reason they Bills won Give the D some credit. They made stops in the fourth McD made mistakes not taking the XP, not challenging the Allen slide, and a few others. But he was aggressive at end of half. Give Beane an assist for signing Prater 1 1 1 Quote
Your Brown Eye Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Credit: John Allen (Offense) and Ed Oliver (Defense) No credit: The fake ass fans who left the stadium before it was over, I loved that Josh took a shot at them in the post-game interview. 1 2 Quote

It defines them., as if they cannot live without it. They will lay low for a few days, but the same hate of the Bills that defines their 'fandom' will take over and the hate will then continue unabated. Like an angry Yosemite Sam, crimson red, smoke pouring out of his ears, some 'fans', like this have no idea what to do after big victories. Their fury is obvious--they simply don't know what to do with their hatred after big important wins--see above, please... Soooooooooooooooooo predictable. And comically sad. I also think everyone is overlooking how important that field goal at the end of the half turned out to be and if the coach gets ripped when it goes wrong, give credit when it goes right. Four plays, 48 yards in 31 seconds was the balm my heart needed and a vision of what was to come in the fourth quarter. 2 Quote
nuklz2594 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I'd like have Josh run the "k-gun" offense. Turn him loose from the opening kick off. Quote

You know, I find this so funny. I was at the 56-10 drubbing at the hands of the Pats back in November of 2007 and I sat through the entirety of that. Why on Earth do you wait the entire day for this game, spend hours at the stadium, and then leave a few minutes before the end? It defies logic. Who the hell cares about the traffic around the stadium? You signed up for that when you bought the ticket. 1 3 Quote

Last night absolutely HAS TO have unseeded any games on the list. (Poor Sam Adams; his fumble recovery and return has officially been relegated.) Please start one. I agree. Best Home Opener that I can recall. 1 Quote

Max Fischer Posted September 8 Posted September 8 So, you're saying you don't like McDermott? 1 Quote
ngbills Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Bills game plan on O and D. They had all offseason to be ready for this game and that’s what they put together? Bal could do essentially anything on O - hand off to Henry to the house, Lamar around the edge to the house, flowers running wide open. We needed the fumble and then harbaugh getting cute. On O I don’t know what the plan was early. Way too much of all that misdirection. Wr screens like we have a qb that can’t throw downfield. Not until we were in panic mode did the O open up and we saw the results. 2 1 Quote
