JerseyBills Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Their O looked sharp and very well tailored for Fields skill set Defense not so much 1 Quote
buffblue Posted September 7 Posted September 7 On the flip side, for a supposedly strong defensive coach of a team with supposedly strong defensive personnel, his defense sure looked like garbage against the pass Quote

Haha, somebody had to win the game. If the Jets couldn’t win this one today, I’m not too worried about them. Justin Fields has limited potential, while the Jets D got carved up by old man Rodgers. blacklabel Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I dunno. I get that he's seen as a true leader and all that but without Detroit putting up 30 or 40 in every game last year they probably don't even make the playoffs and then does he even get considered for a HC job? They might go as Fields goes and he's had some moments but overall he's inconsistent. I also have it on good authority that all Jets players and coaches are just straight up doodie heads. 1 1 Quote
Tulsabillsfanz Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Glenn has a great RB! When healthy, Breece Hall is one of the best RBs in the league. 2 Quote

transient Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Is it that the Jets were good enough to hang with the Steelers, or is it that the Steelers are bad enough that they almost lost to the Jets. Let's hope it's the latter. Quote
gobills404 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Until their defense looks like it has in the past and Fields starts stringing together good games I’m not worried 1 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I think he smiles when he doesn’t have any answers. He smiles a lot. Your boys will out mental him and his. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I remember a few years back when the Dolphins hung 70 on Denver everyone said McDaniel was special and to "watch out". 1 2 Quote

I had a ton of respect for his guts and guile as a player and I think he's the kind of cat that become a very good head coach, possibly good enough to turn that mess around. He also swiped an offensive coach from the Lions that could end up being successful in this league if they find him a good QB. Bookmark this and laugh me out of here if it doesn't work out down the road, but I think he's going to become a problem over the next couple years. Not to mention the Lions looked real bad without Glenn and Johnson Quote

Heck we can't even take them for granted next week. Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Just checking in, how’s this looking? 7 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Not worried. Only Vrabel gives me concern. 1 Quote
FireChans Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) Aaron Glenn with the classic surrender punt in the 3rd Q. It’s a first time defensive head coach rite of passage. Edited September 14 by FireChans 4 1 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 14 Posted September 14 I live an hour from MetLife and hate the jets more than words can say. The day he got hired I said he won’t get to year 3. They hired the coordinator from the lions that was in charge of the bad unit. I’m not concerned about this guy whatsoever he’s horrendous. The Lions defense was the reason they couldn’t go further and the jets hired the guy responsible 3 4 Quote
