foreboding Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Shane Buechele was the best pre-season QB imo and Zach Davidson come to mind first for me. Davidson played great in the final game and he is a good backup punter. 3 1 2 1 Quote

At the same time I like Quinton Morris back to the PS. 2 2 Quote
SCBills Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Honestly. None. Team did what I thought they would. I like Davidson too, but Knox & Kincaid make him redundant and I think the staff has big plans for Hawes come regular season. 3 5 Quote
Blainorama5 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Josh Allen. I think that kid has a LOT of potential. Doubt he'll make it past waivers, but maybe we'll get lucky, so we can put him on the practice squad! Oh wait, maybe I meant Jonathan... 1 1 1 Quote

While his last preseason game was fine Davidson had a BRUTAL first 2 games. 1 Quote

It was cool to watch him boom a punt but he's not a good blocking TE and if you're going to be a passing TE you got to catch the ball. Buechele had a nice game, but Mitch has much better physical traits and a way more upside. I liked Buechele more than White though. 2 Quote
Senth Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Davidson and Hamler. Totally understood their releases however. 2 Quote
wjag Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Gore... Numbers game for sure.. But thought he balled out with a b-team O-line.. Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere, if not in Buffalo. 1 2 Quote
oldmanfan Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Nothing shocking. I am surprised they kept Codrington. 3 Quote

WotAGuy Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Probably the cut I got shaving my nuts was the one I liked the least. Quote
Max Fischer Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I like Shane, but he's not an NFL-caliber QB. Davidson is "fine" but hardly deserving of a roster spot. So the answer is NO, I'm not surprised by any of the decisions. It will be much more interesting when Hairston and the suspensions come back. 1 Quote
somnus00 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I can't really say I'm upset about any cuts. But I'll say I'm disappointed that Forrest didn't amount to much. I was kind of hoping he would turn into something here. Also, I thought Green would show enough to be trade bait and get us a late draft pick. Ultimately, we're talking about guys fighting for 3rd string spots. 3 Quote
The Cincinnati Kid Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I was surprised by Codrington. Will be interesting if he gets waived whenever Hairston comes back from IR. 1 1 Quote

One of those guys with high football IQ, but doesn't quite have the physical tools. I wish him well. 1 Quote
