It won't happen but if that trade involved Shavers, it would be pure entertainment to watch this board melt down worse than Chernobyl.

i would absofreakinglutediddlylutely love that.

The Steelers keep being mentioned as a team desperate for WR help and are said to be waiting on anyones cuts.

If I am big baller Beane i trade a WR for a 6th to them then flip that 6th to get someone elses potential DB cut.

I’d like to see them move off the Curtis Samuel contract. Moore can bring what he does to the table and stay healthy doing it.

Samuel would be about the only one I'd consider and that would probably be a 4th at best. it gives us room on the roster but then signing a decent depth replacement wouldn't be cheap either - thoiugh Gabe Davis would be cheap

maybe.... @zow2 we trade Shavers to the Steelers and sign Davis to the roster for the most epic possible situation.

Bean blowing 2 1st CB picks.  Really awful.  I'm all for trading furutre firsts for Parsons.  Bean will find a CB later in the draft.

“Blowing a pick” on a player who hasn’t even been on a gameday roster yet?

How could anyone say this without looking completely foolish?

he does not project as an impact guy this year.  Hope I'm wrong.  Elam on the other hand was a total cluster of a pick from inception to how McD used him (or not) here.

There's going to be at least one surprise cut.  AJ?

sounds like a good idea for a poll.  who else could be the suprise cut?  Shavers would be a mild suprise.  AJ a larger one.  Hamlin (even bigger suprise).  Landon (cutting a high rookie pick).  ?

He's a solid return guy in a league that is now bringing back more return opportunities. But like Matakevich he can't play his defensive position at all. So you have to account for that in your 53 roster construction.  Lets be honest, it wouldn't even be an issue if Elam panned out at CB or Hairston was ready to play. But now it is an issue.

I haven’t reviewed preseason film nor have I heard any analysis of Cod’s reps on D this summer. I know that for the little bit of preseason I watched it wasn’t him looking like a piece of burnt toast out there. He’s only a second year player and it’s very possible the Bills like him as a developmental prospect as well.

Sad to hear about Travis Clayton.  He was one of those longshots that I was hopeful could develop into a decent rotational depth player at OT

There was no shot he'd be ready for the 53 on a team with SB aspirations. If he clears waivers they will bring him back to PS to continue that development.

From Brandon Beane's first year as GM of the Bills in 2018 through 2024, in rounds 2 and 3, Brandon Beane wasted a subtotal of 6 premium draft picks the past 7 seasons from 2018 to 2024.

Kincaid, Coleman, Bishop, and Carter remains to be seen, but at the moment it's not looking good for Bishop and more so for Carter.

2nd rounders wasted
Basham
Epenesa

3rd rounders wasted:
Moss
Singletary

Cooper (Trade)

Douglas (Trade)

I’m glad that we cut Ciarlo IF we only keep 5 LBers.  If we keep Ulofoshio over him…. That would be a bummer.

I’m hoping 5 LBers because that’s one of the ways we can keep 6 WRs

Epenesa and Singletary are absolutely not wastes. One got an extension and the other has remained a productive running back in the league.
