Really really concerned about our defense if ANY starter goes down

What confidence did the starters give you last season? The only starters they added are Trey White and Bosa.

My Lord man James Cook is one of the ten best players at his position in the NFL.    Greg Rousseau is a very good player.   Is he great?  No he isnt headed to the hall of fame, but he is an impact player.   O'Cyrus Torrence has started every game since he has been drafted.   Oliver had 9.5 sacks two years ago and continues to play well above average.   If you want super stars I guess the Bills better start drafting in the top 5 of the draft every year.   Personally, Ill take the playoffs every year instead.

Yeah, top 5 like the Chiefs, Ravens, and Eagles...err you meant the 5 small numbers or the big ones where those teams draft?

I had no idea there was “Tre to safety crap”, sorry to ruffle your feathers there brother. Touchy subject apparently…

Unfortunately, team doesn’t have a starting caliber safety.

BTW, quite literally prefaced with “too late for a positional switch”.

He’s shot at corner.

TRYING him out at safety in the offseason would’ve hurt who exactly?

Taken valuable reps away from all world pro Damar Hamlin? Those paid off…

He can't play safety because he can't tackle. That was always a problem with Tre due to his light frame. But It didn't matter when his coverage skills were all world. White is a corner or he's out of the league at this point.

it’s not that it’s too late, it’s that Tre lacks the tackling will and skill to play safety. This has been debated to death for years here.

A few corners over the years have been able to do it. Tre isn’t one of them.

I guess only the Bears can run crossers and in cutting routes down the seams.

Running base routes.  Nothing over the middle.   Looks like they are evaluating the WRs on being physical and win contested sideline throws.

What looked better tonight Pam Oliver or our defense?

Sadly Pam and Damar have something in common. Both should call it a career.

No update, just saw him being taken off.

He tackled low with his head down.  Big no no.

he seemed to not have anything serious though.

100%.  I’d rather see Buchele at this point. He has some wheels.  Bills have ignored backup QB for years and just bring in guys who Allen likes. thats what it feels like.

And it’s not fair for evaluation purposes when you have a backup who can’t run the offense. Bad QB’ing makes the line look worse and neuters pass catchers. Get a competent backup, Beane.

For real. The Chiefs are a top 5-6 dynasty in NFL history and the Bills have been neck and neck with them for years. Obviously we've lost every time which is very, very disappointing, but to even have a team that can hang with an all-time team like that means the GM has not been a failure.

Mahomes, Brady and Manning have won 7 of the last 10 Super Bowls.    The Bills havent been bad.  The Super Bowl is amazingly hard to win.

How many stabs at RB did it take Beane to finally land Cook?

The Chiefs and Ravens draft in the same area as the Bills and seem to find game breakers.
