Ok.. but its still the same old same old..

No pass rush, 7 yards on first down running,  horrific pass coverage, and they walk up and down the field at will. The backups against their back up look like our starters against other starters. I question the defense and its co ordinator at least as much as the players so we can analyze the quality of backups and compare but the defense and result looks exactly the same . I truly understand your point but mine isn't really about the players its about their coach

The Bills defense has been top 10 five of eight years under McDermott.   Its very far from same old same old.

I knew muting the game and listening to the game on WGR was a smart move.  Davis and Olsen gushing on the Bears while Julian Edelman is annoying.

Walker and Sanders look legit.  I’m excited about both of these dudes.

Wish they got more snaps.  McDermott's like how do I ensure we get the crap beat out of us?  "I know.  I'll put  Putting Codrington one on one with DJ Moore."

I’m not worried about the team at all. We will be fine. However, I am worried about some player performances. Cole Bishop is at the top of the list for me because he may be our starter. Hamlin? I couldn’t care less. Cut him tomorrow.

So Bishop is a huge worry and by all accounts looked bad… but cut Hamlin tomorrow?   LOL   Makes totally sense.

Andreeson looks like a liability in coverage.  I wonder if shaq or Dorian would take Bernard’s spot if injured. Andreeson doesn’t look like it.

our coverage has been an abomination tonight.

Bishop was the rustiest I’ve ever seen a player. Good lord.

On the bright side, we didnt end up trading up for Bishop like they were trying to do.

Not only is he annoying, he’s illiterate.

About Bishop: I think that's the biggest concern on this defence right now.

He looks like an absolute liability out there, and not really good depth to challenge him on top of it

Only thing I'm focusing on this game is the rookies in the trenches.

Walker getting penetration.  Jackson has flashed more than last week (I still worry about his ability to be more than an outside rush or a push straight back guy).  Sanders has won and lost reps.

When Buffalo Joe is playing so much drop back, you are going to get chewed up.  Bagent is also a very very good backup QB that I think could carve out a Fitzpatrick type career.

Not overreacting to this at all - focusing on rookies and trenches, we know Davidson/Buf Joe/Codrington/Strong are PS or cut candidates.  Not sure why people are upset that they dont look good.

When its DJ Moore winning battles against Brandon Codrington..... you just eat the loss and move forward lol

If Buechele looks like he has a pulse he should win #3. White was atrocious.

Isn’t he going to be the practice squad QB with a decent showing? I don’t think we’ll keep 3.

Plenty of starters?

I guess if Bishop and Palmer equate to “plenty” the guy has a point.

Not sure how anybody can get their panties twisted in a knot over this game, but the internet’s got to internet.

Hamlin didn’t look any better.

343 yards is an absolute embarrassing

Actually it isn't given how the two teams have approached the game.  The Bills have played this game like they typically play their last preseason game.  I assume it's a choice and related to changes in how they approach this preseason versus previous preseasons.

You wouldn’t? He is horrible. I’d take literally any other semi-vet safety cut by another team when they trim down 53. Not kidding

Yes, PS.  If we ever get to actually needing a QB3 the season is likely over anyway.
