It’s pretty nice for a promo. It won’t fully air until 9pm. I mentioned on another thread, I’ll watch tomorrow morning at 5 am, before I get ready for the gym. I try to always be on the gym floor at 6:30, so I get 45 minutes in the am to make my beautiful wife breakfast and coffee. 1 Quote

TheFunPolice Posted Wednesday at 12:02 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:02 AM I apologize if this is a silly question but we won't be able to watch until 930 or so tonight. Can we stream the whole show then? New to HBO Max Quote

I’m not familiar with Sharp Objects, but will check it out. Chernobyl was unbelievably good. But I would only watch 1 episode a week, the way shows are intended to be watched. It's too grim to binge. Plus there's only 5 episodes so if you start this week you'll count down to the NFL season 😁 Another HBO show I'll mention that no one else brought up is Nathan Fielder's The Rehearsal. I have no clue if anybody other than me has watched it and I don't even know how to explain what it is. Best description I can give is extreme social experiments conducted on real people by an evil genius. But that's underselling it. Your jaw will regularly be on the floor. 4 1 Quote

I had it free for years when I was with ATT, but I am with Verizon now and I get it in a cheap bundle with some other stuff. Sopranos - epic, top 3 show all time IMHO. Succession - One of the best shows of the past decade IMHO. Game of Thrones - Best of its genre House of Dragon - Also great, same world as Game of Thrones Barry - Excellent - Great balance between comedy, drama and action - more comedy than anything. The Wire - one of the best of its kind. Curb Your Enthusiasm - Uncensored and politically incorrect "Seinfeld" - its excellent. Silicon Valley - Rewatching this again now actually and still hilarious. Entourage - Another all time great comedy loosely based on Mark Wahlberg and Are Emmanuel (head of WME) The Wire - one of the best of its kind. Eastdown and Bound & Vice Pricinipals - if you like Danny McBride, two hilarious comedy series True Detective - Season 1 especially (each season is different and independent from the others) White Lotus - All seasons have been really good, each season is also different and independent from the others for the most part. The Night Of - One of the all time best limited series shows IMHO The Jinx - Awesome docuseries following alleged killer Robert Durst There are a lot of other great shows, limited series, documentaries etc all depending on taste, this is just more of a hit list I would start with. Its really got some of the best original content of any content provider out there IMHO. Agreed Barry and Succession are two of the best original shows on there for sure. I haven't watched Veep, but Curb is an all time fave for me too. Life and Times of Tim and Ten Year Old Tom are often overlooked gems lol. I still need to watch the Last of Us one of these days. NOTE: Unrelated to HBO - just on the topic of shows - Just finished the first season "Mobland" on Paramount+ (by Guy Ritchie) and it was awesome. This is a great list. The wire is a must watch since he never seen it. I would also add “Oz” to your list. If you haven’t seen it, definitely check it out. Phenomenal, and I honestly thought it just got better and better as the seasons went on. The series “6 feet under” is great too. ”Ballers” is really, really good. Especially for NFL fans. There’s an HBO movie called “something the lord made”. Highly recommend that one as well. One of my favorite movies. It’s a true story about Dr. Alfred Blalock and his black assistant Vivien Thomas, the men who cured “blue baby syndrome” and pioneered modern heart surgery. Vivien Thomas’ life was incredible. https://www.msm.edu/Prospective_Students/admissions/PipelinePrograms/VivienThomas/commhealth_trainingprograms_vivien_bio.php The mini series “warm springs” on FDR’s battle with polio is also excellent. There are so many good HBO series and movies. HBO Max is by far my favorite streaming service. If I could only have one streaming service, it would be HBO max. edit - can’t believeI forgot to mention “the last of us”. So good! Edited Wednesday at 01:01 AM by BillsFan4 Quote

My favorite series ever. Breaking Bad is up there due to the dynamic between Walter and Jesse, but the GoT world gives it the nod in my book. Currently watching Gangs of London (currently on Netflix until aug 16th, I believe). I recommend it to everyone. Currently 2 seasons. It can be pretty graphic though. Just a heads up Quote
