Shakir should hopefully be fine. Don’t need to see losers like Shavers on the field. Shavers has actually been one of my favorite Bills to root for the last 2 seasons. Deceptive speed, 6'4", insane work ethic.. a true underdog in the Buffalo Bills mold. He likely won't make the roster, but I'd think he's one of the first players on the practice squad. Great depth if someone goes down. Underrated player. 4 1 Quote

I should have used the word scrub, as Shavers is not a loser, just a bad football player who no other team seems to want. Don’t be so dramatic. It wasn’t in good taste. But this board could use a little controversy at times. 90% of the people have the same opinion on here. It does get monotonous at times. Quote

NoHuddleKelly12 Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Let’s stop with all the “friendly” fire on here, yes? The Shavers dig was unwarranted, but so were some of the overreactions. A classic case of spiraling into pointless back and forth personal insults which collectively reduce our IQ to that of a Chiefs message board, and no one wants to see that. 3 4 Quote

Maine-iac Posted August 3 Posted August 3 I felt like we saw a lot of Bishop last year and that's even with him not showing a great ability to lock down coverage. Elam got a lot of chances. Hairston will see the field once he's healthy. I'd bet on it. Who was the only WR to catch a TD from someone other than Allen in the last 4 years (for what it's worth)? 2 Quote

So you’re going to double down on the idiocy in your previous post then, maybe you go for a walk and meditate on your continuing capacity to be shunned by others with the same interests…, 1 Quote

This is what happens when we don’t have updates to read. The thread goes in its own direction. Also won’t find the classiest Bills fans on this message board as @Leftbower continues to remind me with his roll eye emojis. 1 1 3 Quote

You can’t really tell from his cryptic answer but I suspect the later. He is being a bit of a tool either way. Expand Cook and a first to Dallas for a pash rusher? Hmmmmm…… OK, probably not but what else do we have to talk about besides meatloaf? 1 Quote

I don't understand the reasoning of going through camp, saying you're here to work, then just... Not. The only reason I can think is he either got lowballed so bad that he feels slighted or that they informed him/his agent that he's getting traded. Now I'm on team pay the man so I don't really want to see him traded, but he's likely one of the only few players they have that could be part of a big trade instead of giving up multiple 1st round picks. Or.... It's just business. It's in his financial and personal best Interest to go into the season 100%, and to have an amazing year. He has witnessed quite a few injuries at camp. He is there. So he's working out and in meetings. Seems like it's nothing personal and just business 1 Quote

I am sure McGovern, David Edwards and guys like that are worried about injuries in a contract year. But they still show up and practice 1 Quote

A running back takes more of a beating than Iinemen. Linemen deliver the beating. 1 Quote
