In 2023 I think that was a big reason. However, I think 2023 the Bills got ***** by the field not being heated and the fact that the Bills didn't get a chance to rest starters week 18. KC had their division and seeding clinched and they got the pesudo bye week in week 18 and came into the playoffs very healthy. They also had a heated field so despite the game against Miami being super cold their field was much better and they got less injuries. The Bills had the massive snow storm and a bad icy field against the Steelers and had a bunch of injuries that game. The team also had to play week 18 so more wear and tear going into the playoffs. Then of course the Bills had 2 days less rest going into that game and it was all sorts of *****. 2024 the only injury was Benford which was a very fluky thing while KC had injuries. I think the difference for that game was that the Bills were away and got a bunch of borderline calls and a few outright bad calls go against them. Quote

There are a lot of ways for a knee to be injured. I don't see any indication that this Alex Brasky character knows anything beyond 1.) Kincaid isn't practicing due to a knee injury, and 2.) He's wearing a wrap on the left knee. Yeah, this could be related to his injury last year, but it's also very likely that it's unrelated. Exactly, its a click bait headline and McD made it sound like it was just a common got a little banged up on a rep yesterday when he hit the ground. Nothing about it sounded like anything other than a common cautious move from general knicks guys get in camp. To paint it as if its directly tied to last year without knowing it is was just irresponsible reporting for the sake of attention. Could it be - sure - but nothing reported on it thus far suggests it is. 2 Quote

WTH is with this org they can't find a damn good training staff? I think its mostly all tick tack stuff and early camp precautionary moves more than anything. I don't think there are too much to be concerned about in terms of the injuries reported and would bet most would play if there was a game this week. Especially going into the first day with pads on. Probably not this year; he needs to put some more mass on that big frame and master the offense. But I'm getting the sense that McDermott is finally getting a bit tired of Anderson's dumbassery. He actually threw him out of practice the other day. 1 1 Quote

It may take some time for Deon to develop a NFL body however I thought he was a real steal in the 4th round. The concern about Walker as a run stopping 1 tech is that his size is mostly north of his waistline. He's not a typical big Dlineman with a thick lower body to give him a solid anchor. He moved around on the Dline at Kentucky playing most of his reps as a 3 tech. His strength is unusual agility for a big guy, not his ability to get low and get physical. 1 2 Quote

All three interior starters anchor well. Not getting rooted out is an improvement vs previous year’s DT depth. Il reserve judgement until the pre season is completed. 2 Quote

Mat68 Posted Monday at 05:15 PM Posted Monday at 05:15 PM Glad to hear the continued success for Coleman. He has a chance to emerge as the team’s number 1 by the end of the season. An uptick in early down PA rate to league average will greatly impact Colemans production. Playing more run downs in the Hollins role will also make the offense more explosive. Coleman and Shakir YAC ability make PA a more dynamic option this season vs last. Quote

eball Posted Monday at 05:16 PM Posted Monday at 05:16 PM I'm not happy to read about all of the injuries but I'm not worried either. There is NO reason to push guys right now (particularly starters)...if they have any sort of little "tweak" here or there the responsible thing to do is sit them out until they're good to go. The only injuries I'm concerned about are the sort you know are serious right away (fractures, ACLs, high ankle sprains, etc.). Hamstrings, muscle soreness, etc., are nothing to be distraught over. 1 2 Quote

Coleman faired the best but it was still tough out there. In 11 on 11, the d line and safeties absolutely stuffed the run. Also Cook is our only back that can beat people to the edge. Also, in 11 on 11, Tre White faired really well and Hairston faired well too ( was better then he faired in 1:1 It's "fared," believe it or not. A synonym for "ate." When you say someone "fared well" you're saying they "ate well." Appropriate metaphor for a team where "everyone eats." 2 1 1 Quote

I’m not really playing that game. Rice got hurt early in the season and they traded for Hopkins. Drop off, sure, but they didn’t lose Rice and then have to replace him with bargain bin guys or depth players. Bills have had pop up injuries and gaping holes created by post trade-deadline injuries. 1 Quote
