Even crazier, when he was injured, his back up Van Demark even played well against the Chiefs.  In Kromer I trust forever.  He can throw all the beach chairs he wants.

Please get this dude extended on a top contract!  Throw him a bone with an "assistant offensive xxx" title.  finally, offer his daughter (a reporter) some type of role covering the team.  doesnt need to be exclusive if she doesnt want it.

I’ve said this a hundred times but im happy that we aren’t writing Hamlin in pen as a starter as we need an upgrade at that spot, but it’s a shame the Bills won’t put Bishop in his more natural SS spot where he could excel.

Yesterday, I was worried that the offense sucks. Now I'm afraid that the defense sucks. And we don't even have a punter. I'm predicting 4 wins. (am I doing this right?).

I’m so happy we got Moore. He was a beast at Ole Miss and he’s been so underutilized

Hearing reports about this WR room, combined with the very real fact that Beane purposefully or accidentally put his merit on the line in the Jeremy White exchange has me thinking this WR room is going to be much better than anyone thinks this season.

All they need to do is find a handful of WR2 level receivers to go with Shakir and then Allen behind this OL could absolutely cook teams.

If they go with the 5 we think, 4 of them are seperators to go with Coleman and the Tight Ends.  Feels a bit like the Beasley, Diggs, Davis, Sanders year with the obvious acknowledgement that there is no Diggs level guy.

Man...every time I see your username I just remember how much I hated that "Low positive" season. The vibes were so funky and muted. Everyone seemed low key miserable, or at least flat and un-emotive.

As soon as the OC change happened and then a certain someone was shipped out of town, the happy vibes returned. Our smiling, jovial, golden retriever QB returned. Josh is at his best when he's having fun.

Thank god that "low positive" stuff is in the past.

If we learned anything from the Miller situation, i truly hope its, prepare for the worst/hope for the best, and LOAD MANAGEMENT!

Listen I am in agreement with load mgmt ... but his injury happened because of turf (which is a freak thing) not because of excessive use. At the time Von left he had 8 sacks in 12 games the dude was a beast and it was an atrocious outcome for all parties

Maybe someone can explain to me like I'm dumb. But what is the point to 7 on 7?

I probably can't without sounding like I'm dumb myself, but the "party line" I've always heard is that it allows players to focus on skill development in the passing game.  WR know they need to release quickly and execute their routes quickly because no protection for the QB; QB needs to make quick decisions about where to go with the ball given what the LB and secondary show in coverage; secondary know they need to be brisk in coverage because the QB won't be harried by a pass rush.

In NFL training camp as I understand it, it's basically a way to focus on installation of offense and defense while actually taking live snaps and facing realistic coverage.

I would like to hear more consistency on Deep ball Accuracy from Josh. Its one hole left in his game he needs to shore up.

In order to focus on deep ball accuracy, Josh also needs a WR who can release consistently and cleanly and get downfield consistently, not let himself get jammed or held up.  When you see a deep ball fly 2 feet over Coleman's head, is it because Josh's ball is inaccurate, or because Coleman is 2 feet short of where he ought to be based on a route vs. air?

Win/Win

Better yet, save him for the last play of the game.  And playoffs only.  Maybe just AFC Championship and Super Bowl.

Are you referring to deep balls as they relate strictly to go routes or just pass attempts on any route that covers 20+ air yards?

Deep ball accuracy is a wr dependent stat.  The elite guys have that little extra gear/maintain speed while tracking the ball.  Buffalo has not had that since 2019 Jon Brown and he wasn't elite at it.
