Whites Bay Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Too soon to bring up Ashton Youboty and Ko Simpson? Had such hope for the secondary that year... 2 Quote
oldmanfan Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I already posted about Booker Egerson for the AFL days. Mid era the two guys I’d give you are Jerry Butler and Tony Greene. Butler would have been HOF caliber if he hadn’t gotten hurt and Greene was a great FS. 1 Quote

There aren't lots of other visible Bills on the board that come to mind quickly. A quick perusal of the member list shows a lot of "Bill" related screen names with 0 posts, so the lack of recognition is on them. I find @BillsVet's insistence on pointing at me unnerving... there are too many others to go through night now without getting fired, so... Least you could do is send a Christmas card, but no. I'd even settle for a birthday card, but nada there too. LOL. Quote

Cray51 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Currently - people dont understand that Oliver is a hell of a player and some thing he is a replacement level starter. He isn't. From 2010-2020 - I always thought Robert Woods was someone who never really had the credit in Buffalo until he was gone. Sure hands, good blocker - I think some would look at him like they do Shakir now if he was with the Bills today in his prime 2 Quote

Probably as gifted as Josh is but not as charismatic and far less pocket presence and inability to take a hit but I know am in the minority but feel had we drafted him instead of Todd Collins in 1999 our history may have been different. they were in the 95 class i believe. or are you saying you think 99 would have played differently had rob johnson been drafted? 1 hour ago, The Jokeman said: Rob Johnson. US Egg Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Shane Nelson. I drank with him more than a few times. He started to hang out a bit at a restaurant/bar I worked at. His wife was hired as a waitress there shortly after. The other waitresses weren't very receptive to her, so I looked out for her. He appreciated it and hence.... Thought he was pretty good football player too. Quote
PrimeTime101 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Fred Smerlas 14 seasons.. made the pro bowl 5 times.. should of been way more.. got snubbed way to often, 3-4 defense was a outstanding nose tackle. Quote

He had five games going over the 100-yard mark and two games with multiple receiving touchdowns. He caught 94 passes for 1,252 yards and nine touchdowns. His best game came on September 15, 2002, when he caught 13 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns, including a 48-yard score in overtime, during a 45–39 victory against Minnesota. After the season, the Bills used the Franchise Tag to ensure Price stayed with the team. Price was given permission to seek a trade, and the Atlanta Falcons were willing to give up a first round pick in the 2003 NFL draft for Price. The Bills used it to select running back Willis McGahee. and then he came back to Buffalo I believe Quote

st pete gogolak Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Pete Gogolak. How many Bills can you honestly say revolutionized an aspect of the game (first “sidewinder” style kicker). If you look at his stats, however, they are laughable bad compared to modern kickers. 1 Quote
