Bray Wyatt Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:57 PM (edited) So over the last two years Benford's PF grade is 4th, his advanced coverage grade is 6th so they rank him 8th? Edited Tuesday at 01:58 PM by Bray Wyatt 1 8 Quote

Benford is never going to get the hype that the more highly-drafted and/or run their mouth CB's in the league. Plus, he doesn't get targeted like crazy either, so he's not in position for a ton of INT's I look at Christian Benford as the Thomas Smith of our generation - flies under the radar, not spectacular, but always super solid 1 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted Tuesday at 02:12 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:12 PM I've stayed out of these these threads because PFF just isn't for me, but really Sauce Gardner #1 last year?? Christian Gonzalez outside of the top 10? I respect what PFF tries to do but there is something obviously broken about their grading methodology. Like when they had Tyrel Dodson as the #1 LB in the entire league in 2023. Their process produces too many of these bizarre outcomes for me to take it seriously. 4 2 1 Quote
MPL Posted Tuesday at 02:14 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:14 PM Kind of crazy to think that the Bills secondary could very easily be Trent McDuffie, Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, and Cooper DeJean right now. 1 1 Quote

BananaB Posted Tuesday at 02:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:32 PM Sauce is the most overrated player in the NFL. Whenever I watch the Jets Reed always matched up with the #1 and Sauce got the #2. 4 Quote

Just saying that it's kind of crazy that in an alternate reality, we could have that secondary. I'm not wishing things were different. 1 Quote

Might partially be the defense he plays in. He’s a coverage corner. The skills of a primarily man corner might be more valued. 1 Quote
RyanC883 Posted Tuesday at 03:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:08 PM not bad. hoping to see Hariston in here next offseason. Quote

Didn't they do the same thing with Josh? He's rated #1 over the past four years, if I recall correctly, but projected 4th going into this season. Quote
JerseyBills Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:13 PM https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-interior-defender-rankings-top-32-ahead-of-2025-nfl-season Philly dominating every position groups. Ed at 19 strictly off his pass rush, with porous run and tackling grades. But he hasn't had a consistent counterpart besides Daquan 2 seasons ago and Ed was dominant. Quote

I can't see using having both Taron and McDuffie since both are better in thee slot vs on the outside. Personally with the rookie and veterans we added this offseason our depth at DB is strongest it's been in years. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted Tuesday at 04:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:59 PM PFF, the same organization that voted Lamar as their MVP in 2024. What a joke, they play to the big markets. Quote
