VW82 Posted yesterday at 03:54 AM Posted yesterday at 03:54 AM Assuming he can stay healthy, is the plan that Bosa will play mostly from the right side this year? I ask because Greg is clearly better rushing from the left side. Jackson looks more like a left end to me, and I believe Bosa was playing more from the left side in recent years. Epenesa obv plays from the right side but I can’t be the only one hoping he sees the field a lot less this year. Maybe Solomon will make a leap? Bills certainly like their LEs and 3Ts! Quote

Anybody that isn't a little concerned that he's injured already given his history is lying to themselves. Anybody that thinks the sky is falling is overreacting to a May injury of a calf pull. Fair enough...I didn't pick up on the joke, so my bad. I agree that a little concern is warranted given his history and agree that the sky is falling stuff is way over the top. So agree with all of this and sorry I missed the sarcasm initially, its hard to tell who is joking or over the top sometimes here because the over the top is comically absurd at times. 1 Quote

If he plays 10 games, cool. If he plays 5, cool. Bosa staying healthy isn't something you can rely on, so not a big loss either way. However, it just goes to show that between the Bosa signing & all the other FAs we signed that are missing time due to suspensions, the Bills probably were either in a tight spot & without a lot of options, or they didn't do their homework. I'm guessing it's the former, though. If these draft picks don't pan out & improve the D, I'm 100% done with expecting anything out of McDermott & Beane. I already thought we should prioritize offense, but I'm hoping this year proves that McD can finally make use of the tools he's been given come playoff time. Quote

You can go easy on a hamstring but it's hard to walk at all without aggrivating a calf injury. They are so often the precursor to a torn achilles. It's happened so often to so many big name players now that it's odd when people try to brush it off like you are doing. The Bills have good depth a DE. That's the saving grace. Not the insignificance of the injury for a brittle old pass rusher. Oh don't get me wrong, its smart to sit him as I know it can lead to other injuries. That is why in my post I said the injury on its own isn't serious and sitting him is precautionary. Just look at what happened to Durant on the Warriors in the postseason his last year there. What I was brushing off is that its May...calf injuries themselves are not hard to get past or heal. When I pulled mine playing basketball it hurt so bad I thought something in my knee popped. I was back to playing full court without issue 4 weeks later just from sitting on my 48 year old butt at home playing with my kids and not doing too much to aggravate it. And this is a 29 year old professional athlete with a full medical and training staff at his disposal. So a call pull its not very concerning at this point and him just sitting out some early parts of the season ins't a big deal and just precautionary. 2 Quote

For the first time, I read the entry for Kevin Kolb at Wikipedia. I find it rather suspicious that the 'slippery rubber mat' is not mentioned anywhere in that biography. 🤔🤨 1 2 1 Quote

Ask yourself, why do the Bills keep putting random rubber mats out on to grass playing fields in perfect conditions? Prepare to go down a rabbit hole. 3 1 Quote

HamptonBillsfan Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM Get ready for an injury riddled experience with Bosa. He never plays in the latest iteration of his career. The reason he is here is because he signed a one year deal at a reasonable price, but this is justification for Cook demanding an extension. Cook has done nothing but perform at a top 5 RB in football level for 3 years without injury and he’s only 25. You want to say an edge rusher is more important to a team than a guy who scores 16 TDs and runs for a thousand yds on 200 carries and averaged 5 yds a rush and is a weapon that in the passing game. Only if that edge stays on the field and produces. 2 Quote

The part where he said "you have to believe bringing him to Buffalo was overly optimistic. Doesn't seem he'll be someone the Bills can count on this season". Making that statement based on a soft tissue injury in May seems pretty wild to me. 1 Quote
