The funny thing is going on the Official team website and using those message boards was new and exciting compared to how we consumed content back in the 90s.  Evolution is wild man

The message boards?  Early 2017 I still remember that well actually.

 

Usually anyone poster with a start date here of March 2017 was a transfer such as yours truly.

Interesting.  I would have guessed it was even longer than that.  I was thinking more like 2011 or 2012

I check it pretty frequently.  Specifically, I look for any news articles and will also use the team roster page for reference purposes.

i will never forget though how many fans on that message board really really liked the Rex Ryan hire though which was all through 2015

I lurked there for a while but decided to join after Rex Ryan’s last game against the Dolphins.  Was looking for a place to vent after that day.  
 

My thought on that board was it was usually very negative even considering the Bills were in their drought.   With some bipolar mania thrown in.

Yes, and frequently.  They do a very good job with interviews and features.  Not infrequently, they even hit a homerun, or is it a touchdown; the Tasker "Might be chilly" was the best Bills media moment I can remember from any source.

Agreed. I get we have a lot of old BBMB refugees here, but I agree. That message board was trash. I am guessing there is just some nostalgia there from the refugees.

Official franchise business info was leaked onto the site ahead of time that compromised what the Bills were trying to accomplish right before the shutdown. Coincidence?

Wait… you mean you don’t read .com for the stellar writing and analysis from Chris Brown and Maddy Glab?

 

I think the difference between then and now is that today all content that used to be exclusive to the website, is now broadcast through YouTube and social channels.  So unless you’re looking for static information like the current roster or coaches bio.  There’s not much of a need to log onto the website

Dont forget this website!  It would be nice if the curators of this website could at least keep the schedule updated.  How hard is it ?  The moderators are great at sarcasm but cant keep the site up to date!
