Im only curious after seeing so many Knicks fans come up out of nowhere now.

Ive been on the boards long enough to know many here are long and knowledgeable fans.  Ditto the passion the fanbase still had in the drought.

But I do have a friend for example from Wyoming who started liking the Bills because of Josh.  I think that’s a legit reason 🙂

Been a fan since 1988 when the Bills played the Bears in Soldier Field. They lost 24-3. Should’ve known with that loss. 🤣

My kids fandom started in the most recent drought years.

My wife went from a casual fan to a diehard fan during the Josh Allen era though.

My first memory of the Bills was Wide Right.  I remember crying so hard cause my parents were so upset.  I started to follow them after that as a 10 year old.  So I’ve been through all of the heartache, the drought, the rebuild and current state.

I know a handful of people in the Houston area who are now Bills fans because they love Allen and hate the ownership of their original teams.

On one hand it would be a great time to become a fan, but on the other it likely means a lifetime of disappointment after it's over. I'm skeptical we'll remain a powerhouse franchise into the future as that's typically reserved for big markets or at least teams with really strong pedigree like the Steelers/Packers.

My first memory of the Bills was the 1990 AFC Championship Game I attended a little after my 3rd birthday. I went because my mom was sick and couldn't go. I must've been a fan already, but I don't really remember it. I remember SB 25 mostly in flashes, but have stronger memories of the following year and was full on by SB 27.

The ones that joined will be the first to leave when we suck again without Josh.

I'm from Québec yet have made it through all the drought. I sure deserve to be here now ha ha. But "football life after Josh" will be hard. Forget the wins for a moment, he makes the games FUN, entertaining. It won't be the same after him. Let's enjoy it now!

I never get hung up on the bandwagon thing. The more the merrier as far as I am concerned. It's just great to have a great team and be relevant again.

When I was a little kid my brother, cousins, and I would pick our favorite teams based on uniforms lol. One year I really liked the Bengals, orange and black and stripes and all that.

The year I decided I liked these silver and black Raiders was the year the Bills obliterated them in the AFC Championship game. Being in a family full of Bills fans meant I was getting a whole lot of caca for it. By halftime I ditched my Raiders gear and said I was a Bills fan now lol.

So I got to see the 90s glory years as a kid and then by the time I was one of them grown ups they were just starting their 17-year drought.

Watching them since Josh got here has been, to me, more special than those 90s teams. Nothing against them, those were incredible seasons but as a kid I couldn't appreciate it the way I do now.

I don't judge any fans and I welcome them all honestly. I've supported the Bills since I was 6 when I randomly won a Bills football from a claw machine here in St Louis. I will admit that I've actually made an effort to go to games since Allen and have more financially supported the team since then too. But I'm coming up on 30 years as a fan this year.

Definitely, but tons of adults were not fans before Josh and only hopped on the bandwagon.  I can't wait for those fans to be gone 😄

Congratulations! Welcome to ignore!

Most people on here have been more or less obsessed for decades. I'm sure there are plenty of new casual fans but they're not lurking around on 90's style message boards.

Yeah I think we are the hard-core fans. I’m always telling my friends about this website and I don’t think they’re obsession level is near mine 🤣

Full disclosure I was a Cowboys fan until 1986 when at eight years old my neighbor convinced me to start watching Buffalo. Rest in peace Shawn ❤️ even though you cost me two Super Bowl beatings I wouldn’t trade that decision for the world. I absolutely love the Buffalo Bills.
