The Saints got so unlucky, thought they had the guy who would lead them to the promised land again, as almost all agreed. The Saints and Carr haven't really been on my radar since they are in the NFC, even though I live in Louisiana. Quote

Still am very adamant that I don't think Arch is leaving after one season starting The whole Manning family knows he needs 20+ starts in college to have the best chance of success in the NFL Quote

The Cincinnati Kid Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Wonder if we can coax him out of retirement for a run at the super bowl as Josh’s backup. For real, though, what’s so bad about that idea? Wait, I will do the eyeroll emoji myself. Edited 6 hours ago by The Cincinnati Kid Punctuation. 1 Quote

Good for him lasting as long as he did. His brother set a record for sacks early on and we’ll never know what he might have been. I think David made $40 Mil, which is still a lot of money for some people. 🤣 Very different times and different careers. . Edited 4 hours ago by Augie 1 Quote

If memory serves, they were absolutely awful and that poor bastard was a sitting duck from day 1. It was surprising that he actually survived his time in Houston. He probably has PTSD. 2 Quote

The poor guy never had a chance behind that line. It’s hard to come back from that kind of beating without flinching, but I looked and he still got about 10 years in the league and about $40mil. Good for them. Interesting tidbit speaking of brothers, did you know Reid Ferguson’s brother is/was the LS for Miami? 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't get it, why retire ? Get the surgery you need to fix your issue then let the Saints medical team rehab you all while you're collecting an NFL paycheck for one more year. Then retire. Quote

Not even close to who was a better quarterback And that's why it shows you where you end up is just as much as your talent.. that's why it's crazy to think Tom Brady is the same if he doesn't start with belichick or mahomes is the same if he doesn't start with Reid etc David Carr was really talented and he got ruined going to an expansion franchise 2 Quote

Love it when I find our ilk are spread out all across our country and world. 1 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Football has been very good to the Carr family. After investing over half of your income for all these years they have to be sitting pretty, pretty, pretty good. Quote

Maybe after a few hundred million, money isn't quite as important for some people. Personally, I commend his absence of greed. If some of the ultra-wealthy were less-greedy, this world would be a much better place. On a different note...
