It can also be because he wasn't where the QB thought he should be. Bills fans have said the same thing about Gabe Davis and Jet fans (and presumably Brown fans) have said the same thing about Elijah Moore to explain the higher percentage of uncatchable passes to those receivers. That continued in the NFL before Roman got there. Plus, McKonkey seemed fine in Roman's offense. I think Palmer is who he is at this point. I'd be happy if he's a slight upgrade over Hollins who should be able to get open against man better than Mack could. I think we need Palmer to do better than what Cooper did- possible since Cooper underperformed expectations IMO. The Hollins upgrade needs to come from K Coleman. That is a large, but doable, jump. 2 Quote

Ben Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Coleman did enough pre injury that there's reason for optimism. He needs to make a big jump but it's not a pipe dream 1 2 Quote

Say what you will about their production, but they were both veterans who knew their roles and did things the right way. If Coleman and Kincaid don't step up (or God forbid they backslide), we'll need big contributions from Moore and Palmer. 1 Quote

First they need to live up to where they were drafted, second teams will defend us differently now they have a year of film on us. Quote

You imply that the Bills are the only team in the league that does not review film. Teams may change defenses and the Bills will look at film and alter strategies as needed. I would also remind you that teams the latter part of last year had an entire season of film on Brady’s offense, yet we scored more points than anyone. The formation with 4 guys on one side of the formation and one guy on the other was in particular very successful; teams knew Brady would run it but had trouble stopping it. 23 minutes ago, TheBrownBear said: We lost Cooper and Hollins. I really don’t think Cooper gave us much, but we’ll miss Hollins as much for his blocking and special teams work as his receiving. 2 1 Quote

Palmers numbers stunk last season. And this was with MANConkey on the field at the same time getting all the attention from defenses Palmer 2024 Rec 39 Yards 584 yards Avg 15 yards TD 1 Edited 9 hours ago by JakeFrommStateFarm 1 Quote

I rewatched the season recently. The difference pre- and post-injury was significant. Arrow was definitely point up early in the season. We saw glimpses of why he was drafted. Fought for balls, good catch radius. Aggressive and looked strong. Totally different after. Quote

Well, I mean Coleman will need to pick up the stats left behind with the departure of Hollins in addition to what Coleman did last year. Hollins had a lot of snaps and did a good job blocking - the hope is Coleman can help take over and fill that void while improving on the receiving duties. Quote
