Defense stunk , but Josh was very good. The officiating changed the ending . That was a false start all day long , and Bills had the momentum. That’s a bad way to lose the chance at the 1 seed for sure.

They got some bad calls against them in the first half.  But it more than evened out in the 2nd, especially in the critical points down the stretch

Milano shouldn’t be starting yet. For the second week in a row I would have liked to have seen Williams out there. Milanos snap percentage is waaaay too high.

Yes Josh had a great stat line, but early on during pivotal moments, he was not efficient and the offense had to punt the ball. We all know about the punt block. But based on how our defense was playing, those middle 8 minutes were essential to cash in on at least one of those possessions, if not two. And we didn’t get either. 
 

Josh had a great second half, but the first was very average. Gotta start out faster in shootouts like these. 
 

btw I’m not blaming josh exclusively. That mostly belongs to defense. But Josh isn’t blameless in this loss

The offense should have realized early to get it done.  Slow start and a weak defense put them in catch up mode.  I wonder what the DC was thinking with his game plan.

Today wasn't Billsy. They got beaten by good play. If they'd come back from 17 down in the 4th quarter that'd be one thing. If they blew the game after taking the leas late that would be Billsy. Today was just bad.

Detroit has to be licking their chops for next week. The way Buffalo looked today they should be a 10 point favorite.

I thought it evened out, for the most part.  But the Rams chat I read through thought it was extremely one-sided.  

 

I definitely didn't see that. I thought in the 4th, we had some rough ones not go our way.

The missed false start was more obvious, but the non call of OPI (too early) as well as the hold on Kupp was worse in their TD.

They held like crazy the entire game.  The refs decided they weren't calling it.  Meanwhile everything was pass interference.

Flying and don’t have time to read all this… just wanted to say.. this is the Defense that leads to an early playoff exit every year and wastes awesome play by Josh Allen.     These soft zones suck.  And Milano… hopefully gets back to game shape… but he’s not as good as Williams right now.

Let’s give the Rams credit for making some insane plays.  Nacua and Kupp ran free a few times but they also made some incredible catches.  That toe drag by Nacua? The TD by Kupp?  Come on. You can’t defend that.  They had their game of the year, possessed the ball twice as long as we did, got a blocked punt TD… and still won by just two points at home.

How about 2 out of 3 this year.  Houston  and LA Rams.   Personally,  I was done with McDummy after 13 second game,  I get it.... he has done great work improving the culture here.  

Seriously he is something like 83 w vs 43 L as a head coach.  Great!  How many of those Wins were due to Josh Allen?  It is my opinion at some point, Josh will tire from loosing close games to incompetent game management.
