BuffaloBillyG
He's a big body. Seems to me to be better suited at true NT than 1T but is a good run stuffer. Would NOT count against any comp pick formula for next year. Edited March 10 by BuffaloBillyG 5

MrEpsYtown
Quality 1 tech. I am happy they are looking into the released guys. With so many free agents leaving us this year, there is a chance they can work the comp pick stuff for next year. 1 7

Cool. Starting 1T in place of Jones? Eh, not sold.
The Jokeman
Solid run defender, 29 years old so should be serviceable another few years. At the very least a solid backup but at best a two down player.
Bruffalo
A guy who eats double teams and frees up Oliver? I still want Jones back but we need guys like this. 2 5 1

Fatukasi is slightly more athletic. If I knew how to post that "why not both" gif, I would.

biggerdaddynj
I know how many feel about PFF but found an article, “One 'secret superstar' for all 32 NFL teams entering the 2022 season”. Fatukasi was the pick for Jax. “In today’s pass-happy league, the best way to ensure you fly under the radar is to be a run-stuffing specialist. Being one coming off a below-average year will only magnify that. Fatukasi has been one of the best run stuffers in the league since he came into the NFL, with back-to-back PFF run-defense grades of at least 86.0 before last season’s drop-off. If he can bounce back to that previous level in Jacksonville, he will be an important and unheralded cog of a defense looking to take a big step forward in 2022.” Here’s a link to the PFF (non-subscriber) bio info page on Fatukasi: https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/folorunso-fatukasi/38558 2

BuffaloRebound
Maybe this puts some pressure on daquan Jones to make a decision, but it’s gotta be hard to convince a guy who played for over $10m per year the last 2 seasons to take a deal in the $3-4m range which I guess is what Beane wound want him for. I’d be surprised if we don’t draft a 1 tech this year also.
