Defense ***** sucked dude. They gave up 27 points on like 40 plays. It was a terrible showing.Ā

Crippling injuries will tend to have that effect.Ā  Not an excuse, just a fact.

They have the superstars. We don't. That's the biggest difference. They have Mahomes, Kelce, and Jones who consistently make the plays in the big moments. We only have Josh Allen. Diggs isn't that guy anymore, for some reason.

No doubt our outside WR's didn't do much against the Chiefs.Ā  I see what you are saying but I don't totally agree.Ā  Cook, Shakir, and Kincaid all made plays.Ā  We needed Benford and Bernard on defense.Ā  That's where we needed just a few more plays.

Have to outscore them. Defense doesnā€™t matter. Draft speed skill players

Ā

Not only is that a good short term solution..........it's what's best for Josh Allen long term.

Ā

We need more of the 2020 Josh Allen. Ā  Ā Dropping dimes from the pocket. Ā

Okayā€¦ I think we know all of this is happening to the Chiefs.Ā
Ā

Letā€™s be honest about why itā€™s not happening to the Bills.Ā

Whatā€™s the excuses for the other two times the Chiefs ran a train on our D in playoffs. I think the Ravens had more sacks and forced more punts in one game than the Bills have in 3. šŸ˜‚Ā

Because Josh Allen is the only QB in the league on Mahomes level.Ā

That's it in a nutshell.Ā  Patrick and Josh are the 2 best qbs in the NFL. I don't care how many maps are handed out to guys that either are always injured or wither in the playoffs.Ā

If you need to have it explained... compare today's game to last week.Ā  Bills KC games are classics.Ā  Ravens game was a bore.

Listen, McDermott could have 10 more years to figure out how to stop KC and it wouldn't matter.Ā  The only reason we're competitive with KC is 17.

I think they got lucky half our D was injured this year to be honest.

I would love to agree, but their offensive yards per play has been tending in the wrong direction for our defense for the last three playoff games against them. Obviously being full strength would be better, but Iā€™m finally starting to not be able to deny the pure differential in coaching talent.

We ran into the Cowboys dynasty in the 90's, now we have run into the Chiefs dynasty. With the budding GOAT, who we traded to them...THE PAIN..THE PAIN...šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

They could start with not letting him get wide open in the end zone for the easiest TD he's ever caught.Ā

If the Ravens don't fumble on the goal line and if the Chiefs don't fumble on the goal line, the Ravens take it into OT and the Bills lose by 10+. Buffalo was completely dominated in the stat sheet by KC. The Bengals perform far better against us and KC. .Ā

He will retire soon. Maybe even this year. Hopefully Reid goes soon too. We just have to outlast the Chiefs.Ā

Ehh....missing Bernard killed us because it forced Klein onto the field. Which is right where they attacked most of the game.

Ā

I think we would have forced at least one more FG and cause an extra punt or two which would have been enough.

Ā

Hell it was almost enough the way it was.Ā

Watching these other QBs play feels like football with a restrictor plateā€¦ Allen has virtually ruined my NFL viewing experience outside of Bills games.

I've noticed this as well, especially since the playoffs started and I've had a chance to watch other teams of playoff caliber.Ā Ā

Put Allen on the Greatest Show on Turf and that team is probably the first 3-peat SB winner in NFL history.Ā Ā

361 yards and 7.7 yards per play, what exactly would you call that?Ā

368 yards for Bills.Ā  27-21 first downs for Bills.Ā  More rushing yards for Bills.Ā  That is not complete domination by KC.Ā  Bills depleted defense was not at its best.Ā  But it shut out KC for most of 4th quarter.

You make your own luck!

Ā  Ā We have now missed 2 Superbowls after Josh crushed it in the Playoffs.

Ā  Thatā€™s not luck. Thatā€™s a consequence of decisions made off the fieldā€¦. By the coaches, the management and from here on out the ownership.

Ā Ā

Ā

In some cases yes, but when you are missing 5 starters on D and down to your 4th/5th stringers it makes it pretty rough. I can't really see what they did working with Bernard in there in place of Klein.

Ā

We did far better on offense than the Ravens did against them and likely would have beaten Baltimore also with the way we normally shut down Lamar.

Yes you mentioned that already.Ā  You have a case for the defense getting dominated.Ā  Our offense did virtually the same thing to their defense.Ā  Bass makes that kick and somehow the defense hangs on and everyone is saying we dominated them.Ā  Our offense was straight up bullying them most of the game.

The only way the Bills win last week was if we got points every possession. Our defense was never going to slow them down with what we had at LBer and banged up corners. We have to be at our absolute best in order to overcome the Chiefs in the playoff, that hasnā€™t happened.Ā

It took us almost 80 plays to amass the same yardage total. KC has had the best offensive outputs of the Mahomes era vs us. We have never come close to stopping that offense. Not even a sniff. The Bengals have. Until we can put up even a fight on defense your post is just off base especially given the Bengals fairly dominating history against them and us for that matter.Ā

So if they don't fumble we don't lose by 10+?

There's some luck involved in making the SB and as much as I hate to play that card we just haven't been very lucky when it comes to injuries going into the playoffs the last two years.Ā  The list is just insane.Ā  Let's take just two names.Ā  Say Miller and White and have them be completely healthy the last two years.Ā  What a difference it could make.

Thats because of defense.Ā  Let me know when the Bills keep Mahomes scoreless in the second half.

Ā

Punt, punt, interception, punt, punt, field goal, interception.

Ā

That was D, not Burrow.Ā  Not to mention the trio of great playmakers on offense.

Chiefs were also scoreless the second half today. Their defense stepped it up big time.

Ā

They need to dedicate the draft to high end skill players on offense and let McD figure it out on D.Ā

Ā

He is able to do a lot with less, do there is no need to spend high picks on that side of the ball. Allen needs to be surrounded by high end skill players so it makes it impossible to shut everything down.
