Weird vibes you have towards someone making logical judgments.

The poster is stating what is obvious…

Seems to be that there’s a very big difference in her needing to go to the hospital vs needing minor treatment on site.

One lends credence to the idea that he snapped and beat her up.   The other is far more ambiguous as to what actually happened.

Okay Cleo, I did not realize someone would be judging my vibes. It was a joke really, Bob got it.

Brutal

Breane should have traded for Smith from the Bears and could have easily traded Edmunds to the Bears who they ended up signing as a free agent.  This the Von Miller Damage

dead money 2024- 32m- cap savings 8.6m

dead money 2025- 15m -cap savings 8.4m

dead money 2026 -9m - cap savings  17m

dead money 2027 - 2.7m cap savings 30m

It was a terrible signing when he could have gone after Smith from the Bears for less money and younger

If you think McD is going to go from not letting Elam even sniff a backup position on gameday, to suddenly being CB3, I have oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you.

Then we are back to spending more draft capital on defense, in a league that is dominated by the offense.

You also assume rookie players will be ready to start and play well. Are you willing to have another non-playoff season?

Why are we the only team that can’t start rookies on defense?

Dallas had their LB drafted one spot ahead of Dorian Williams set to start before he tore his ACL in preseason.

The Chiefs started a bunch of rookies on defense and won the Super Bowl

later that year.

If we don’t release Morse, we bring back 8 OL, WR1, Slot, TE1, TE2 and RB1.   We should absolutely draft a WR early, maybe two of them given how good this class is.  Outside of that, what do we need for next year on Offense?

Focus our FA efforts on retaining our DL guys.  Draft a couple Safeties, a DT or two and a slot corner.    ****** figure it out.

If McDermott can’t do that, well… all the more reason to let him go.

And here is the cap space with releasing the 4 starters you want:

Are there any projections/guesses on how much the salary cap will increase next season?

This organization needs a fresh start in so many ways…..  I could easily name 6-7 starters I wouldn’t mind seeing let go for more youth and ability, plus it’s McDermotts time to go!

Crappy thing is I kind of like Joe Brady, especially when I called for Dorsey to be fired last year!!!!

Not to toot my own horn, but I called for Dorsey to be fired TWO years ago.

Spotrac is already assuming a decent bump with those numbers.  It might go up a little more than their projections.

Next season has a chance of being a partial tear down and a lot of younger cheaper guys filling bigger roles.

Josh and some others will restructure too.

Not saying we can't. I'm stating that it's tough to swallow the thought of spending even more draft capital to rebuild half the defense.

It's what we have been doing for years now.

Hyde's contract also expires this year.

We also will lose Floyd, unless we sign him again.

And their defense was bottom half of the NFL in points allowed. They won because of their offense.

So draft 2 WR's and still draft 4 defensive starters? It's a lot to ask for is all i'm saying.

A much better RT for one.
Likely need a new LT at some point with Dawkins only having 1 year left on his contract (unless we are willing to spend huge money to re-sign Dawkins).
A legitimate #2 (and drafted #2 WR's typically take a year or two to develop).

If we release Dawkins, White, Johnson, Morse, Poyer, Harty, and Hines we can get down to almost $0 cap space.

Then we will have to restructure a few players to get enough room just to sign the draft picks.

Yes that calculation assumes the NFL salary cap goes up by almost $20M.

The $42M under assumes we get a $20M increase in cap space. Technically we are $62M under at the moment.

LIke I did with Araiza, I will wait and see what happens and what comes out before I react to this.  But obviously does not look good if its DV involving a pregnant woman.

Guess if its true, he and Tyreek Hill can get some beers and talk about their baby mama dramas lol

Sadly, the first thing that popped in my head was "will this allow us to get out of Von's contract" through a morality clause.  Never gonna route for DV against women, but if this is true, that actually might help the Bills overall cuz he is useless on the field this year as it is and it would give us cap space next season.

They likely cant cut him without going over the cap.   I am not a sky is falling guy but even cutting him in the offseason will add 17.5 million dollars of dead cap to a team that is already 42 million over the cap.

Wow! This signing keeps looking worse and worse. However, I do understand why Beane took the gamble back when he signed, although it was way too much imo.

But didn't think it would turn out as bad as it has.
