Draft a couple Safeties, a DT or two and a slot corner. ****** figure it out. If McDermott can’t do that, well… all the more reason to let him go. I could easily name 6-7 starters I wouldn’t mind seeing let go for more youth and ability, plus it’s McDermotts time to go! Spotrac is already assuming a decent bump with those numbers. It might go up a little more than their projections. Next season has a chance of being a partial tear down and a lot of younger cheaper guys filling bigger roles. Yes that calculation assumes the NFL salary cap goes up by almost $20M. The $42M under assumes we get a $20M increase in cap space.
