This will update seeding based on your picks for remaining games.

Based on my picks the Bills could lose to both to Eagles and KC and still squeak in as 6th or 7th seed and play at Jacksonville or Baltimore.   If they win all their games from here out they would most likely grab the 3rd or 4th seed and host either Miami or Houston.

The bills best opportunity will be to win the division, need the dolphins to lose 1 of the next 4 then they run into the cowboys ravens and bills

With the amount of wins other wild card teams already have coupled with the ease of their schedules and kind of chaos with with QB injuries the bills are too far behind for a wild card unless they win 2 of the next 3 then win out

We are better than any of the 3 or 4 teams ahead of us for a Wild Card. I would take us over Pittsburgh, Cleveland or Houston especially. The dream scenario would be to somehow win the division. A home playoff matchup against the Texans would be a dream matchup in my opinion

We have to beat either Philly or KC and win out to get in. Just picking favorites for the other teams leaves us on the outside looking in.
This is losing both games to Phi and KC and winning out. We don't get in.

I think that "picking favorites" strategy is massively flawed for the AFC North.

Your scenario only sees Cincinnati winning one more game and Cleveland only losing one more game. I think both scenarios are pretty far fetched.

By the way, if we're rooting for any team on a weekly basis to win in the AFC, it's Baltimore. They're the only other AFC team (that matters) with a bye remaining. That means 1 less game for them and smaller chance to match them.

Yea the more I look at their schedules there is almost no way the WC aren’t going to be

Cleveland

Houston

Pittsburgh

If we get to 10-7 I’m not sure how we have a tiebreaker with any of those 3.  None of them are going to be worse than 10-7.

The path in is win the division.

I'm not convinced the Dolphins don’t find a way to lose 3 more - 1 of them being to us.

We can’t afford to lose more then 1 more game.  10-7 won’t get in.

We could realistically be 10-6 or 9-7 going into the last game with Miami.

I can see Miami losing to the Jets once, Dallas, Baltimore.

I have the Steelers losing 3 of thier last 4 to drop out of the playoffs in which case the Bills get in.

Steelers have 4 losses and I could easily see them losing to Arizona, splitting with Cinci and then dropping Seattle and Bal to end the season.

Texans, also 4 losses.  It’s trickier to find 4 more losses, but they are a young team that could hit the skids and no one would be surprised.

Browns have 3 losses, but when their QB is a rookie backup, who knows.

On the flip side… I’d throw the Broncos in the mix too … which gets tricky because they play some of the above teams…and the way Russ looks, they could make a run.  Obviously they are yet another team we’d lose tie-breakers to.

Texans play the Jags, Broncos, Jets, Browns, Titans (twice), and at Indy to end the season.

I see 3 losses there max.

I don’t see the Browns losing more than 3 games.  They freaking won at Baltimore.

The Steelers are a joke.

I don’t see a WC path at 10-7.  The Steelers have 3 conference losses.  They play the Bengals twice, New England, Indy, and at Baltimore.  Where are 3 losses here?

Cincy lost Burrow, though. How many more games are they realistically going to win, do you think?

Miami won’t win every game they are supposed to win. I could see a surprise loss to Jets, Wash or Tenn.  Heck, Buffalo has 3 such losses already.

Jets defense will be in a salty mood too, the way they played last week and with their offense failing them.  They might break Tua in half if they can get a hold of him.

When your starter is Kenny Pickett none of those games are gimmes.  I can easily see them going 2-5 or 3-4.

I think the Bills need to go 6-1 to get in, but there are paths (hypothetically) at 5-2.

I just posted who the Steelers could take 4 L’s from .. and when you have one of the worst offenses in football, no game is guaranteed.

Texans, if they play like they have all season, will make the playoffs.   If Stroud hits a rookie wall and/or starts getting figured out, they could fall off… fast.

Browns are looking good, but have a rookie backup…

If Cleveland loses to Denver this week, they could be a candidate to start dropping some games … and then we can root for that, while also being worried about a 6-5 Denver that we might want to get to 7-5 over the Texans before facing the Chargers and Lions.
