Israel might have a tough slog, but drones are really coming into there own and could, perhaps, really lighten the load. Small drones can clear building, find snipers, and blow up unsuspecting targets hiding in rubble or under ground. Once Gaza has been pacified, I would not be surprised to see the same type of technology used by China in locking down their ethnic minority they have imprisioned. Cameras everywhere, facial recognition, even motion detectors that sound alarms if people are running.Might not work, but it sure sounds better than a full occupation.
